RESPONSIBILITY

• Conduct white box and black box security scan, harden systems and application platform

• Develop scripts to automate systems hardening and security vulnerability assessment

• Maintain security test suite in QA build

• Optimize system performance and reliability to enhance user experience.

• Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and securityWork with Software Quality Engineer on system integration testing

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NEEDED

• Min 2 years of experience in application security vulnerability assessment, analysis and remediation

• Experience in agile development environment will be an added advantage

• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery, using Gitlab or other similar tools will be an added advantage

• Experience in public cloud providers such as GPC, GCC (i.e. AWS, Azure,Google Cloud) will be an added advantage

• Experience with OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, SQL Map, Nessus, Nmap, Fortify WebInspect or equivalence will be an added advantage.

• Experience with Checkmarx or equivalence will be an added advantage

• Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or equivalence will be an added advantage

Your day to day

Assist in managing the Security department of the hotel to ensure completion and compliance of all Company and hotel policies and procedures and government regulation standards. Provide a safe and secure hotel environment for our guests and staff members.

Responsible Business

• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. Key departmental contacts include all hotel staff, Corporate Hotel Management Group and Corporate Risk Management and Legal department.

The successful incumbent will Assistant Director, Operations / Lead Reintegration Mentor in ensuring the smooth running of the daily operations at Selarang Halfway House (SHWH) or future new site at Cosford and is responsible for the safety and welfare of the residents and the overall security of the Halfway House premises. They will work closely with the SHWH Case Managers to aid residents with their reintegration back to society.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Oversee security screening to ensure contrabands are not brought into the house.

2. Facilitate the daily operational routine of SHWH or future new site:

a) Ensure the day-to-day needs of the residents and operational requirements of the halfway house are being met.

b) Facilitate the process of residents checking in and out of the halfway house on a daily basis and provide daily updates on the headcount and other activities/incidents (if any) throughout the tour of duty. Any unusual movements should be highlighted and reported to the relevant parties.

c) To ensure that there is seamless transition during the handing and taking over of shift duties. The jobholder is also responsible in ensuring that all outstanding matters have been clearly communicated to the next duty personnel and are promptly followed up with.

d) Provide logistical support to residents during their stay in SHWH or future new site. To assist occasionally with carrying & moving of bulky/heavy items.

e) Conduct patrols and searches in the SHWH Living Units to ensure the safety of residents.

3. Work closely with Case Managers in the case management of residents, including monitoring and maintaining proper records on the progress, movement, and other relevant information pertaining to the residents.

4. Assist in handling any grievance procedure and carrying out preliminary investigation of incidents and/or disciplinary issues (when assigned).

5. Identify any defect(s) or work(s) to be carried out pertaining to the halfway house’s estate management issues during daily tour of duty and to feedback to Singapore Prison Service Corporate Services Team for follow up.

Requirements

• Recognized Diploma in any discipline.
• Relevant experience in operations (especially in residential or secured settings), security or provost functions.

The Security SOC Analystis responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents in real-time within a Security Operations Center (SOC). This role involves ensuring the security and integrity of the organization's systems by identifying threats, mitigating risks, and collaborating with various teams to address vulnerabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Monitoring & Threat Detection

• Continuously monitor and analyze alerts from security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls) to identify potential threats.
• Investigate and evaluate security incidents, determining severity and potential impact on systems.
• Escalate suspicious activities and unresolved incidents to senior analysts or response teams.

2. Incident Response

• Execute response plans for security incidents, ensuring containment, mitigation, and recovery.
• Collaborate with incident response teams to analyze, investigate, and resolve breaches or data loss events.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and documentation for accurate tracking and compliance purposes.

3. Threat Intelligence

• Leverage threat intelligence sources to identify emerging attack tactics, vulnerabilities, and trends.
• Correlate threat data across multiple systems to proactively detect potential intrusions or risks.

4. Log Analysis

• Conduct thorough analysis of security logs, network traffic, and system behaviors to detect anomalies.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory standards through effective log management.

5. Reporting & Communication

• Prepare comprehensive incident reports, detailing findings, remediation efforts, and recommendations.
• Regularly update internal stakeholders on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and ongoing risks.

6. Security Tools & Technology

• Operate and manage security infrastructure, including SIEM platforms, IDS/IPS, firewalls, antivirus, and endpoint tools.
• Stay abreast of advancements in cybersecurity technologies and recommend updates to improve SOC effectiveness.

7. Collaboration

• Work with cross-functional teams (network engineers, administrators) to strengthen security postures.
• Participate in vulnerability assessments and penetration tests, addressing identified risks proactively.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or similar role.
• Proficiency with SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, SolarWinds SIEM) and security monitoring platforms.
• Hands-on experience with incident response and investigation of threats (e.g., malware, phishing, intrusions).
• Strong knowledge of networking concepts, TCP/IP, and common protocols.

Certifications (Preferred but not required)

• Security+ (CompTIA)
• Certified SOC Analyst (CSA)
• Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)

Technical Skills

• Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, incident response, and forensic analysis.
• Familiarity with malware analysis techniques and vulnerability management.

Soft Skills

As a Security Engineer, the portfolio includes responding to intrusion alarm system activation, performing maintenance service, commissioning of alarm systems. Attending to customer request on alarm and card access systems and conducting patrols at night. You are required to work on 12-hr rotating shift.

You should possess at least a Higher Nitec with a high level of energy, good interpersonal communication skills and a valid class 3 license. 1-2 years working experience, those who obtained Enhanced Basic Security certification will be an added advantage.

Monthly gross salary from $2,820 to $3,270 (16 Shifts a month / 12-hr rotating shifts)

Summary 

This position is responsible in ensuring a safe environment for the hotel employees and guests, and safeguards the assets of the hotel. The Security Manager assists the Management, employees and guests in every way that is consistent with the protection and prevention objectives. 

Job Responsibilities 

• Prepare monthly staffing schedules, monitoring staff attendance and assist in planning work schedules.  
• Maintain a Hotel logbook on incidents, complaints etc. and refer them, if required to the appropriate department for follow up action.  
• Handle and resolve all guest queries and complaints in an efficient manner and to establish an amicable relationship with all clients, and guests of the Hotel.  
• Be proactive in guests’ requests and anticipate Safety needs according to Singapore’s events. 
• Maintain a high level of controlling details within the guest areas. 
• Conform to and enforce Security policies, procedures, rules, and regulations as laid down by ACCOR and the hotel in order to achieve the highest levels of uniformity and guest service.  
• Prepare the annual capital and operating budgets for the Department.  
• Ensure that all potential and real Hazards are reported immediately and rectified. 
• Be fully familiar of the Emergency Procedures, Policies and Standard Operating Procedures as established by the Hotel.  
• Assist in safety and emergency training for all employees. 
• Ensure that all emergency procedures are rehearsed, implemented and enforced to provide for the security and safety of guests and employees. 
• Ensure the safety of the persons and the property of all within the premises by fairly applying Hotel Regulations by strict adherence to existing laws, statutes etc.
