· Risk Management. Design and implement company policies and provide strategic advice to the Singapore senior Management

Investment Services Private Markets

The Investment Services Private Markets (ISPVM) is responsible for investment services for the private market across the GIC group. It is responsible for providing operations and reporting support to the private market business of GIC as well as budgeting, accounting, payment processing, cash management, tax and financial and management reporting services to all departments, corporate management companies and the global offices of the GIC group. The Tax function in ISPVM is responsible for all tax matters relating to the GIC Group and portfolio. Responsibilities

1. Tax Support to GIC’s Public Markets Investments asset classes

• Deliver early-stage well-rounded tax support when investment teams explore the viability of new opportunities, either via new products or investments. In anticipation of investing into new jurisdictions, facilitates preparatory work with external advisors to determine the availability of tax privileges for GIC and tax structuring alternatives
