Working Hours

- 12 hours shift

- Alternate 5 and 6 working days per week (24 working days)

- Rotating shift (0800hrs - 2000hrs and 2000hrs - 0800hrs)

Responsibilities:

Network Architecture & Design

• Lead the design and deployment of network architectures, ensuring alignment with client business goals and technical requirements.
• Provide expert-level consultancy on network architecture design for enterprise data centres, VPN solutions, security infrastructure, and network migrations.
• Develop and review Technical Design Documents (TDDs), Bill of Materials (BOM), and network schematics, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
• Design network solutions that support scalability, security, and redundancy to meet business and operational objectives.

Project Implementation & Management

• Act as Lead Network Engineer on large-scale projects, overseeing the planning, design, and implementation phases.
• Facilitate customer kick-off meetings to gather information based on tender specifications and business requirements.
• Propose high-level design solutions and develop detailed technical documentation, including system integration and user acceptance test (UAT) plans.
• Work closely with sales and maintenance teams to manage device procurement,network link provisioning, and coordination with service providers.
• Manage project timelines, milestones, and resource allocation to ensure on-time project delivery.
• Ensure a seamless transition to operations, including conducting knowledge transfer and providing training to Network Operations Centre (NOC) teams.

Network Security

• Lead the deployment of network security solutions, including VPNs, firewalls, NAC solutions, and authentication protocols (e.g., Cisco ISE, ClearPass, Palo Alto).
• Configure and deploy advanced security technologies such as Cisco AnyConnect VPN, Palo Alto GlobalProtect, Cisco ASA, and Fortinet Firewalls.
• Perform network security assessments, vulnerability management, and remediation of security gaps.
• Integrate network security solutions with third-party tools such as F5 load balancers, Microsoft Intune, and Azure Active Directory for BYOD and guest access management.

Presales & Consultancy

• Collaborate with sales teams to understand client business needs and provide tailored network solutions during presales engagements.
• Conduct technical presentations and solution demos to clients, articulating the value proposition and the technical benefits of proposed network solutions.
• Engage with clients to provide post-sales support, troubleshooting, fault resolution, and ongoing performance optimisation.

Change Management & Incident Resolution

• Participate in change management processes, ensuring that all network changes are properly documented and follow best practices.
• Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for incident resolution and network optimisation.
• Continuously analyse network performance and work to improve the quality of service and reduce downtime.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience: At least 12 years work experience on IP/Data networking and network security, with at least 5 years in a senior or lead role focused on enterprise network design and security.
• Technical Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of network security protocols, VPN technologies, firewalls, and access control solutions.
  • Expertise in Cisco networking equipment (routers, switches, firewalls), VPN solutions (AnyConnect, GlobalProtect), and network monitoring tools.
  • Experience with Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass, Fortinet, and Palo Alto Firewalls.
  • Familiarity with Data Centre network design, high-availability, and multi-site configurations.
  • Proficient in IP routing (BGP, OSPF), switching (VLAN, STP), and security protocols (IPsec, SSL/TLS).

Preferred Professional Certifications:

a) CCIE (Mandatory)

b) Check Point Certifications (CCPE or other related certification)

c) Palo Alto Networks Certifications (PCNSE or other related certification)

d) Fortinet Certifications (NSE, FCX, FCP or other related certification)

Desired:

• Cloud Experience: Knowledge of hybrid cloud architectures, including cloud-native networking solutions and cloud security best practices.
• Project Management: Experience with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, ITIL, PMP).
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and client-facing skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
