As guests take the first step into the hotel, they are welcomed by our tidy and well-kept lobby. As Public Area Attendant (Night), you’ll assist to ensure that the public areas meet the hotel’s standards for cleanliness and presentation – ensure high standards are met to deliver memorable and unique guest experiences. You will be placed on permanent night shift.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
- Liaise with Housekeeping Supervisor in relation to chemical usage, problems or rectification suggestions
- Refer major complaints to and complete tasks directed by Management
- Be aware of hotel information, special events and programs happening in the hotel to respond to guests needs at first point
- Ensure working knowledge of all hotel public areas and cleaning schedules completed in a routine and timely manner
- Operate equipment safely and sensibly
- Maintain stock levels and work aligned to business requirements
- Maintain a current and thorough knowledge of all housekeeping systems
- Respond to emergencies effectively and efficiently
- Be familiar with property safety, first aid and fire and emergency procedures
- Ensure all procedures are conducted safely and in accordance to OH&S guidelines
- Log security incidents and accidents in accordance with hotel requirements
What we need from you
- A minimum qualification in GCE O levels
- Independant and motivated individual with friendly personality
