about the job
- Oversee Level 1 and Level 2 support provided by MSSP for network security systems.
- Ensure that MSSP meets Service Level Agreements (SLA) for routine operations.
- Act as a Level 3 engineer to handle escalated cases and resolve issues related to network security systems.
- Design, configure, and implement network security solutions, including firewalls, proxies, and Secure Web Gateway (SWG).
- Conduct regular security assessments to ensure compliance with vulnerability and CIS standards.
- Ensure that network security systems adhere to information security frameworks such as MAS TRMG, NIST, and CIS.
- Moderate to high experience in cybersecurity functions.
- Manage security incidents, provide remediations, and stay informed about new security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Manage Endpoint Detection Response (EDR) technologies and investigate alerts.
- Manage global security projects, providing advisory and solutions for new security threats.
- Deliver and manage projects with minimal guidelines.
- Manage security controls in the cloud and develop plans to address gaps in the cloud network.
- Strong knowledge of URL filtering, email security, and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) technologies.
- Experience in understanding Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) triage and threat intelligence platforms.
- Ability to respond to emergencies on a 24x7 basis when required.
skills and experience required
As a successful candidate, need to have minimum 8 years of experience within Network security.
Strong knowledge in Palo Alto Firewall from BAU to Design, implementation, and security products such as FortiGate Firewalls and Secure Web Gateway (Netskope).
Cloud certification is a plus.
