NIE invites suitable candidates to join the Public, International & Alumni Relations (PIAR) department as an Executive, Hospitality Relations.
Responsibilities
Primary
Reporting to the Manager or Head of Department, this role will manage the Instituteās Hospitality Relations matters, including:
Ā· Co-manage incoming visits to NIE as part of building brand engagement and experience.
Ā· Co-manage protocol-related matters for official visits and events.
Ā· Work closely with the different departments to facilitate visit requests.
Ā· Co-manage the Instituteās graduation ceremonies in various areas including guest management, production of graduation videos, receptions, etc.
Ā· Co-manage the NIE Visitors Learning Centre.
Ā· Co-manage the coordination and submission of various corporate reports to key internal and external stakeholders.
Ā· Manage the entire process for corporate gifts, including selection, procurement, personalization, inventory management, and timely distribution to colleagues and visitors.
Secondary
Support the Institute and departmentās initiatives and projects as required, including:
Ā· Work with the social media team to ensure content is accurate, current and engaging.
Ā· To assist all other NIE departments in branding and marketing strategies as and when required, such as managing print or motion production that supports the branding initiatives of the Institute.
Ā· Assist in University events as and when necessary.
Requirements
Ā· Minimally a polytechnic diploma in Business, Hospitality, Marketing or Communications.
Ā· Good written and oral communication skills and strong networking skills.
Ā· Proven experience in partner/event management, working with diverse teams to achieve objectives.
Ā· Strong attention to details.
Ā· Experience in hospitality or service industry will be an advantage.
Ā· A dynamic team player who can also work independently.
Ā· Adaptable and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Ā· Strong conceptual and analytical skills.
