Summary of the position:

The Senior Legal Counsel will provide legal support and advice to the Roche Diagnostics’ business in the Asia Pacific region. He/she will also collaborate closely with stakeholders, including leaders, business teams, and corporate functions, on projects and initiatives. A key member of Roche’s APAC Legal Network, he/she will contribute actively to various communities of practice and working groups.

Main tasks of the position

• Support legal matters pertaining to the APAC region, including structuring, negotiating, and advising on commercial transactions, and collaborating with policy, regulatory, business, and product teams to review and shape legislation.
• Deliver subject matter expertise by advising on a wide range of legal issues, including corporate and commercial matters, corporate governance, employment law, intellectual property and technology law, digital product licence terms and conditions, data protection and privacy law, biotech law, competition law, tax law, risk and contract management, and dispute resolution.
