About the role
In this full-time position, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the civil engineering and construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards. This role is will require you to be on-site and will involve hands-on work as well as liaising with various stakeholders.

What you'll be doing

• Monitoring and supervising construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and safety standards
• Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other team members to resolve issues and drive project progress
• Conducting site inspections, quality checks, and progress reporting
• Providing technical support and guidance to the construction team
• Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the project
• Collaborating with the design team to address any design-related concerns or modifications
• Ensuring all work adheres to relevant regulations, codes, and industry best practices

What we're looking for

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Site/Project Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry would be an added advantage
• Candidate without experience is welcomed to apply
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and project management
• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and coordinate with various stakeholders
• Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality control procedures
• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools
