Responsibilities:

Media and Public Relations:

· Collaborate with the Manager to develop and execute the annual media advocacy plan.

· Identify and research media outlets, producers, editors, and reporters for media outreach.

· Draft press releases and organize media events to secure media coverage.

· Facilitate media interviews and attend to media and public inquiries promptly.

· Support marketing and publicity efforts for fundraising projects.

Autism Advocacy and Public Education

· Working with colleagues in SAAC and caregivers, to strategize and execute SAAC’s advocacy efforts for persons with moderate-to-severe autism, including working with other agencies in the Autism Network Singapore to further the interests of persons with autism

Content Creation and Distribution:

· Develop, write, edit, and produce engaging content for various channels (website, social media, marketing collaterals).

· Participate in the production of corporate collaterals, including service brochures, newsletters, and videos.

Digital Marketing and Communications:

· Work collaboratively to manage website development and maintenance, including performance analysis.

· Handle social media platforms, responding to inquiries to engage stakeholders and increase awareness.

Brand Management:

· Ensure consistent and relevant communication of the organization's brand across all internal and external channels.

· Oversee publicity campaigns to maintain brand identity and guidelines.

Administration:

· Contribute to the establishment and management of a media library and archives.

· Assist in daily news monitoring, event reporting, and content compilation.

· Assist in managing events and campaigns, including email invitations and responses.

Other Duties

· Undertake other ad-hoc duties as required

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, digital media, journalism, or a related discipline.

· 2 to 5 years of corporate communications and/or marketing experience.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and preferably a second language.

· Proficiency in storytelling, photography, videography, and video editing.

· Active presence on social media platforms and updated on ongoing trends.

· Proficiency with relevant communication tools, software, and platforms, such as Adobe Illustrator, Final Cut Pro, content management systems, and social media management tools is an added advantage.

· Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.

Responsibilities

· To ensure accuracy and timeliness in completing the data entry within stipulated time in order to achieve valid placements

· Update jobseekers’ information in CC 4.0 accurately (e.g. placement clocking)

· Verify and create new appointment bookings received via the e-appointment system

· Assignment of MP cases

· Making outbound calls to confirm appointment slots for union referrals, follow up on enquiries, programmes outcome etc

· Support for aging reports, statistics generation and other admin work

· Other duties assigned by the supervisor

We are looking for a self-driven and experienced Group Commercial & Agency Management Assistant Manager for one of our shipping clients, covering the Oceania and Southeast Asia (SEA) regions. This key role involves managing shipping agencies within the company’s regional agency network and supporting shipping-related investment projects in strategic markets. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in corporate management within the container shipping industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Regional Management: Manage a portfolio of countries in the Oceania & SEA region, focusing on agency corporate governance, performance management, and commercial activities.

• Agency Setups: Lead and execute agency setups in countries within Oceania & SEA, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company’s corporate standards.

• Performance Enhancement: Drive agency performance including productivity, cost-effectiveness, and local revenue enhancement in alignment with established KPIs.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with Business units/ stakeholders to implement actions that elevate agency performance within the region.

• Financial Oversight: Work closely with the Agency Finance Controller on financial matters, including budget execution, operating expenses, and dividend declarations.

• Strategic Initiatives: Lead transformation initiatives and contribute to strategic planning discussions to drive continuous efficiency improvements within the region.

• Analytical Support: Provide research, financial, and analytical support for business decisions, strategic initiatives, and project execution in Oceania & SEA.

• Partnership Management: Manage relationships and communications with local partners on corporate matters to ensure good governance and sustainable partnerships.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related disciplines.

• At least 2 years of experience in corporate management, preferably in container shipping.

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and drive performance improvements.
