RESPONSIBILITIES

The IT Project Coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating effective communication between the IT department and various business units within the organization. This position is responsible for understanding the technology needs of different departments, conveying those needs to the IT department, and assisting in the resolution of IT-related issues. The IT Project Coordinator acts as a bridge to ensure seamless collaboration and integration of IT services across the organization.

1. Communication Facilitation:

• Facilitate communication between the IT department and other business units.
• Serve as a point of contact for IT-related queries and concerns from different departments.
• Organize regular meetings or forums to enhance cross-departmental communication.

1. Needs Assessment:

• Collaborate with business units to understand their specific technology needs and requirements.
• Translate business requirements into clear and actionable items for the IT department.
• Work with IT teams to ensure a thorough understanding of business processes and objectives.

1. Issue Resolution:

• Assist in the resolution of IT service issues encountered by other departments.
• Collaborate with IT support teams to address and troubleshoot problems promptly.
• Provide timely updates to relevant stakeholders during issue resolution processes.

1. Relationship Building:

• Establish and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders in different business units.
• Act as a liaison to build trust and understanding between IT and non-IT departments.
• Gather feedback from business units to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

1. Documentation:

• Maintain documentation related to communication protocols, business requirements, and issue resolution processes.
• Ensure that relevant information is documented and accessible to both IT and business teams.

• Diploma/degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field.

• Proven experience in IT support, project management, or a similar role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to understand and translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Organizational and multitasking abilities.

JOB SCOPE

• Report to Project Director and Project Manager on site matters and progress of work
• Assist with workers matters
• Provide reports and daily activity updates to management
• Produce proper reports and documentation before and after project completion.
• Conduct inspections and assess the work performance done by all subcontractors
• Identifying and resolving workplace problems with all the subcontractors & suppliers

Planning

• Assist the team in project schedule by contributing to calculating time requirements, and sequencing project elements.
• Liaise with consultants, clients, sub-contractors and coordinate site activities arrangement, and ensure effective teamwork alongside the team and workers.
• Review and check detailed plans before actual work implementation.
• Resolve technical problems at site by developing solutions to problems.
• Assist to plan, coordinate and supervise assigned activities to optimise the utilization of resources available to ensure that activities are completed within schedule.
• Participate with the team in controlling the project plans in reviewing design, specifications, and plan, scheduling changes, and recommending actions.

Documentation

• Assist the team and participate to prepare daily/weekly and monthly site reports and submit to the planning department.

Safety and cleaning

• Conduct risk assessment and implement hazard/safety control measures.
• Ensure working environment is safe and clean by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations to achieve high safety and quality standards for site works.
• Assist the team to ensure that the project team always follow the safety work procedure to maintain a safe working environment.

Adhoc

• Other ad-hoc duties as may be assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Familiar with construction drawings and A&A works.
• Required to travel to office when necessary and required to.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work on tight deadlines, task oriented and meticulous with keen eye for details..
• Client oriented, able to work independently and a team player.
• Able to lead a team of workers efficiently.

Key duties & responsibilities

The Project Admin primarily offers support to ensure workplace efficiency. Assist the respective managers through a variety of tasks related to organization, communication, and daily routines. Familiar with a variety of the industry’s concepts, practices, and procedures.

Ability to effectively communicate via phone, email, and collaboration platforms, ensuring that all duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Provides support to the General Manager in daily administrative tasks.
• Providing administrative support for the General Manager
• Respond and resolves administrative requests and inquiries.
• Working closely with Management Team as well as other support functions to provide proactive and effective general administrative assistance across a diverse range of tasks.
• Do quotations
• Providing other organizational support such as ordering supplies and equipment.
• Involved in Ad-Hoc Projects.

Requirements:

• Minimum GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ levels / Nitec. At least 1 year of experience in administrative role.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
• Ability to multitask and work with tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills with people of all levels.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• 5.5 working day

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure worksites compliance with Workplace Safety & Health Environmental policies and identify safety issues including auditing of work quality
• Liaise with authorities and customer on work programs, service activities and safety issues including of drafting of service orders and quotation
• Implementation of Safety Policies and ensure workplace safety compliance
• Identify safety issues and recommend corrective actions to prevent / minimise risks
• Allocation of manpower, vehicles and equipment to achieve smooth operation for services activities
• Conduct and direct safety related presentations, safety inspections and tool box meetings
• Plan and implement programs for safety training
• Site inspection, supervise and ensure optimal work quality during and upon completion of work
• Responsible for risk assessment and conduct incident investigations
• Maintain Safety and Health documentation and records of safety-related incidents
• Site inspection, supervise and ensure optimal work quality during and upon completion of work
• Implement and maintain documentation related to various quality systems – ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 and ensure compliance with applicable legislation and regulations

Preparation and submission of Structural Shop Drawings, CSD and Concrete Body Plan

Understand and participate in the implementation of Virtual Design Construction (VDC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM) concept.

Coordinate with PPVC/ Precast Subcontractor for Precast Components

Performs such other duties and responsibilities as assigned by his/her supervisor/manager
