Job Description

• Execute a project effectively once a project order is being received
• Have a complete understanding of the requirements of the project and the delivery schedule
• Liaise with purchasing team with regards to the procurement of the items
• Work with various departments to problem solve and mitigate arising issues such as facilitating changes in project requirements in terms of products or the delivery schedule.
• Handle the billing for each project in an accurate manner
• Maintain excellent control on inventory to facilitate timely shipment and delivery, thereby maximising customer satisfaction and minimising cost;
• Plan, schedule as well as coordinate materials availability to meet customer requirements
• Engage in regular meetings with internal departments to review project, production and procurement updates

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in administration

The Laboratory of Surgical System & Service Innovation (3SI) is a multi-disciplinary laboratory that provides a platform for cutting-edge surgical health services research that informs healthcare systems, policies, and programs to provide high-value, patient centered care for patients and their families undergoing surgery.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, meticulous, and responsible research fellow or senior research coordinator with expertise and experience in qualitative research methods to complement the team. You will be part of a holistic clinical and health services research team whose mission is to improve clinical outcomes for seriously ill patients in surgery.

Among others, your role will focus on qualitative and ethnographic research, and this may include assisting with study design, implementation, in-depth qualitative interview, coding, and qualitative analysis.

*Successful Applicant with Degree or Master's Degree as highest academic qualification will be offered Senior Research Coordinator position, while PhD holders will be offered Research Fellow position.

Main Responsibilities:

1. Qualitative research

• Design and implement new studies/ programmes
• Create interview guides and focus group discussion frameworks
• Conduct in-depth interviews
• Manage and organise field notes and recordings
• Transcribe audio recordings accurately
• Conduct analysis of qualitative data

2. Data Collection, Management, Analysis

• Gathering data from various sources and organizing it for analysis
• Performing statistical and data analysis techniques to generate insights from the data
• Data quality control – Ensuring accuracy and completeness of data through data validation and cleaning

3. Presentations & Data Visualization

• Analysis Report Generation: Producing reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations
• Data Visualization: Creating visual representations of data to effectively communicate insights
• Preparation of presentation slides and posters for submission to local and international conferences
• Preparing manuscript suitable for publication

Main Requirements

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree or PhD in the healthcare related fields, social sciences or psychology such as, but not restricted to: Sociology/ Anthropology, Social Work, or Public Health
• At least 5 years of work experience in non-research sector that demonstrates candidate’s ability to work independently and in a team, manage projects, analyze data, write reports and communicate effectively.
• OR At least 2-3 years of qualitative research experience (e.g., participatory action research, ethnographic research, evaluation research, culture-centered approach) which demonstrates candidate’s ability to work with qualitative research team, and conduct fieldwork in local settings with people from different walks of life.
• Demonstrate ethical considerations, sensitivities and competencies working with older adults and/or vulnerable populations.
• Interest in conducting both evaluation and exploratory research that impact policies and programmes relevant to health/serious illness/palliative care/ageing/surgery/disparities
• Experience in using NVIVO 11/12 qualitative analysis software
• Demonstrate versatility in conducting qualitative research analysis (eg. discourse analysis, grounded theory, phenomenological analysis, narrative inquiry, constructivist, thick description, reflexivity/ standpoint, political economic analysis)
• Able to work independently and interactively in a team setting, motivated, responsible and a fast learner
• Passionate about clinical and health service research to bring about positive impact to patients

Programme Coordinator

Salary: $2000 - $3000

Working days : Mon - Friday (8am -5pm /9am-6pm) alternate Saturday (9am to 1pm)

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in planning of annual calendar plan of activities for seniors and coordinating of the activities
• Assist in programme evaluation and telephone interviews/survey to gather feedback on the activities and programmes
• Manage queries and provide seniors with information and referral to services
• Monitor the supply and condition of equipment, activity materials and supplies and assist to procure items when needed
• Assist Programme Executive to manage programme budgets and resources
• Assist to maintain databases for programmes and activities
• Perform general administrative duties

• Advanced / Higher / Certificate in Community & Social Services
• Minimum GCE 'O' Level or relevant certificate
