• Create comprehensive plans and timelines for the different stages of the project, including contributions to the overall project schedule development.
• Monitoring the overall project schedule and its work scopes is crucial, including expediting: 1. Engineering progress and tracking the issuance of deliverables to support related functions such as procurement and construction. 2. Procurement activities and providing support for procurement processes, purchase orders, and package engineering. 3. The timely review of engineering for package engineering and monitoring the progress of key vendor date. 4. Construction activities and ensuring the on-time delivery of essential fabrication drawings and equipment by the required dates.

Technical knowledge

• Participate in design and technical reviews, as well as workshops, to develop action registers that monitor the implementation and closeout status.

Communication and stakholder management

• Notify other functions of potential delays abd develop plans to mitigate them.
• Regularly report on project status to the project management team and aid in producing progress reports for stakeholders.

JOB REQUIREMENT:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equaivalent technical discipline.
• At least 2-4 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry and/or in EPC projects or equivalent
• 4-10 years of experience in Oil and Gas industry.

Technical qualifications:

• Background in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering with focus in robotics, mechatronics, or related fields
• Proficient in ROS or C++ or Python and embedded programming
• Strong knowledge of robotic platforms, robotics hardware (sensors, actuators), and networks (Ethernet, Ethercat, CAN, Modbus, RS232, etc)
• Experience in circuit design, PCB layout, and debugging using tools like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multimeters.
• Familiar with Linux platform, its configuration, and command line operations

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, code, and document larger modules as part of firmware projects and lead a firmware project.
• Rich experience on embedded SoC software development and debug environment setup.
• Work with relevant architects, software and hardware teams to finalize the system level solutions and modularize the firmware development works.
• Utilize low level C coding techniques when developing codebases, follow coding standards and follow standard development best practices.
• Read schematics, utilize oscilloscopes, digital analyzers, and other test equipment in the development and debugging of firmware designs.
• Have fundamental knowledge about the operating system and its common drivers, especially understanding basics of RTOS.
• Have fundamental knowledge about inter-chip communications in heterogenous processor environment, and able to use OpenAMP or RPC such techniques.

Job Description

a) To report to the Manager or team leader as shown in the organization chart. He/she is responsible for the assigned or related project tasks and responsibilities.

b) The detailed duties and responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

• Study and fully understand the ISO requirements, technical drawings, scope, contractual requirements and sub-contract agreements. Work with the consultants to resolve technical issues prior to construction.
• Submit to superior for feedback and concurrence on short or medium-term programmes and execute the works according to the detailed programme.
• Ensure that the works are carried out according to the approved drawings, quality procedures and EHS requirements. Managing the works with excellent housekeeping is a key focus.
• For quality management, the engineer is responsible to fully implement with the quality recordings, carry out result analysis and formulate action plans for continuous improvement.
• Implement and maintain proper recordings to comply with EHS, quality, client and authorities’ requirements.
• Responsible for cost management so that the materials used for both temporary works and permanent works are not damaged or control the wastage within specified tolerance. Rework or abortive work which has serious time and cost impacts shall be avoided.
• Ad-hoc matters as assigned by the PM which is necessary for the execution of the project.
