Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and service-oriented Technician (Building Maintenance) to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems, performing routine inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide maintenance, repair, and servicing for building systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and troubleshooting for M&E systems.
• Perform routine inspections on M&E fixtures, cooling towers, and chillers.
• Supervise term contractors in repair and testing of M&E services.
• Attend to fault reports, breakdowns, and customer service requests.
• Accurately complete maintenance logs, schedules, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with building and fire safety rules.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in building or facilities maintenance.
• NITEC in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical, or Facility Technology.
• Good working knowledge of building, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Basic proficiency in MS Word and Excel.

Additional Information:

This role reports to the General Manager of the Service Department.

Key Responsibilities:

· Process requirements for the department

· Update data entries in Business Central and ensure accurate records

· Prepare quotations, sales orders to submit on behalf of the department

· Verify invoice and tally against purchase order and delivery order for management’s approval before submitting invoices for payment

· Provide support for customer service, follow up on delivery schedule and update customers in a timely manner

· Compile monthly service reports

· General administrative duties to support the Service Department

Requirements:

· Minimum O or N Levels equivalent qualification

· Minimum 2-3 years of administrative / purchasing experience in the engineering, construction or audio-visual/IT industry will be an advantage. Entry level candidates are welcome to apply

· Experience with ERP system preferred, in particular Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

· Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and within a team. Willing to learn, organised and meticulous with data entry and has the ability to meet deadlines.
