In your role, you will be reporting to the Service Manager and responsible for service support of the company's portfolio of technical products for the Marine and Land based industry. Purpose

The primary role is to monitor and maintain 3.5GHz C-Band RAN systems to ensure operational efficiency and continuity for the company’s business.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Carry out 24 x 7 daily monitoring of the 3.5GHz C-Band RAN systems’ faults and alarms.
2. Issue trouble tickets and tracked the fault resolution to ensure that any fault raised is responded to and resolved within the agreed SLA.
3. Coordinate with StarHub and M1 to develop, implement and maintain processes/procedures for daily operations, system configuration and maintenance activities.
4. Coordinate with StarHub and M1 to assess, plan, align, schedule and implement Change Request (CR) raised by StarHub and M1.
5. Generate monthly network performance and usage reports or any ad hoc reports upon request by StarHub and M1.
6. Coordinate and work with the equipment vendor, StarHub and M1 to test all gNode B software upgrade and patches with their respective 5G Core Network to ensure end to end compatibility.
7. Coordinate with equipment vendor, StarHub and M1 to schedule a mutually agreed timeline to load the software upgrades/patches to the live network.
8. Administer all system and user management functions of the 5G RAN OSS, which includes managing the access right of StarHub's, M1's and the equipment vendors, performing software and hardware upgrades, security functionalities and system maintenance (such as database maintenance).
9. For 5G Exploratory Platform (5GEP), to be the interface with IMDA to update on changes to network configurations, software versions and procedures.
10. Coordinate with StarHub and M1 to support project implementation and network expansions.
11. Interface with vendors and contractors on all operational and project support activities.

Requirements

Qualifications:

1. New graduate with NITEC, Diploma or Degree in Electrical/ Electronic/ Telecommunication or related qualification or possess at least two years of related working experience.

Technical Skills:

1. Preferable to have some knowledge in telecommunication networks, knowledge of cellular network would be an advantage.
2. Preferable to have some basic IP knowledge.

Position Summary:

This individual will work in a dynamic team-oriented environment and has primary responsibility for defining, implementing and maintaining validation for manufacturing processes and systems. As a Sr Validation Engineer, you will have a strong process development or process engineering background and is able to work independently requiring minimal direction.

Additionally, this person will partner cross-functionally and cross-site with R&D, Quality, Facilities, Production, and other engineering groups to lead validation efforts, collaborate in developing validation strategies, and execute validation deliverables.

Position Responsibilities:

• Represent the Consumable Validation group in a cross functional project teams, ensuring validation requirements and deliverables are communicated to the teams.
• Develop and articulate robust strategies for validation of processes and systems through development and release of holistic validation plans.
• In collaboration with end users, process owners, Quality Engineers and other team members, develop validation protocols and oversee execution of IQ, OQ, PQ for manufacturing processes and systems.
• Lead investigations or troubleshooting discrepancies/deviation encountered during commissioning and qualification.
• Write reports summarizing results and statistics for all equipment and process validation projects.
• Be accountable for timely completion of all validation deliverables in accordance with project timelines.
