Responsibilities:

• The Project OT (Operation Technology) Engineer is working in billion-dollar scale projects to deliver the Digitalisation Strategy for the Facility.
• Digital innovation requires Operational Technology (OT) systems, such as ICSS, Vendor Control Systems, Marine Packages through to Telecommunication etc, to interact and connect with Enterprise Information Technology systems.
• With OT-IT integration, the data collected by physical equipment, vendor systems and devices can be used to identify problems or increase efficiencies.
• You will be focusing on connecting a previously isolated Systems and Equipment within OT network to the Enterprise IT environment and coordinating the data and information use into Advanced Analytics, Al, Automation, and other application to improve Business and Operational processes.
• In addition, you will assist with the development and sustainment of robust processes for data handling / governance, enabling the management of tactical and strategic interactions between Digital team and other business units across the organization.

Functions:

• Advocate, integrate and improve on existing technology change management process.

Requirements:

• Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 5 years hands on experience in handling Basic and Detail Engineering jobs for Oil & Gas or Offshore & marine industry.
• Good knowledge and hands on experience with international codes & standards
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, AutoCAD LT and Navisworks

For our local agency (based in Singapore), we are looking for a Lead Design Engineer to fulfill a full-time position specialized in HVAC systems for the Marine & Offshore Industry.

Our future Lead Design Engineer must have a thorough knowledge of the HVAC systems which includes but is not limited to the following systems: air-conditioning systems, ventilation systems, split units, automation & electrical systems, instrumentations, ducting, piping, etc…

As an HVAC Lead Design Engineer, you will be leading the team of HVAC Design Engineers and supporting the Project Manager(s). Your duties and responsibilities are as follows:

• Effectively respect the Design & Production (manufacturing & equipment delivery) schedules.

• Successfully manage the technical relationship with our clients.

• Produce and/or lead the production of P&ID, D&ID and all drawings required during the projects’ design stages.

• Produce and/or lead the production of the thermal, pressure drop & acoustic calculations.

• Lead the production of the electrical design & wiring diagrams

• Attend meetings at the shipyard and conduct the presentation & explanation of our design drawings and technical documentation.

• Assist our purchasing team in the sourcing of competent manufacturers & competitive suppliers.

• Produce the technical specifications to be issued to suppliers in accordance with the projects’ requirements; Liaise with suppliers or sub-contractors; Abide by the technical specifications of the procurement; Assist our purchasing team in the negotiation with the selected suppliers & subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Engineering degree (Mechanical/Thermal/Electrical…).

Mechanical background is preferred – Electrical background is a plus.

• At least 5 years of working experience in HVAC projects.

• Relevant experience in Marine/Offshore Industry is necessary.

• Proficient with Microsoft office software (Excel, Word) & with Autocad 2016.

• Solid organizational & technical skills including attention to details.

• Good English communication skills.
