Job Description:

• Review all facilities with an aesthetic eye for detail;

Roles & Responsibilities

• To support the construction team for M&E engineering works.
• Responsible for site activities, coordination and supervision works related to engineering and systems design.
• Oversee and ensure all M&E and related works are carried out in accordance with the approved drawings, materials and method statements, specifications and Authority codes and as per requirements of the project.
• Accountable for all M&E works, site inspections, monitoring of progress of work & variation order
• Responsible for ensuring that all M&E works of the sub-contractors are in compliance to the Company’s and authorities’ requirements
• Review M&E drawings and other materials submissions prepare by the M&E Coordinators to ensure that there are no discrepancies and/or conflicts with the architectural and structural elements

About our client: Our client is a leading chemical manufacturing company that is expanding their existing operations in Singapore.

Work Location: Jurong Island (Company transport is provided to and from Jurong East MRT station)

About the role:

• To Coordinate maintenance activities between the Production and Technical departments and assist with GCM/SDM MA & MO activities.
• Support work permit and authorization processes.
• Attend daily operation and maintenance meetings to provide updates on progress and maintain alignment with planned activities.
• Oversee all maintenance tasks, including safe permit issuance, lockout-tagout preparation, GSAP approval, and assisting relevant teams to ensure successful completion of maintenance work.
• Prepare equipment for the transition from maintenance to commissioning, ensuring that all tasks are completed effectively.
• Support Capital Projects/MOC activities, ensuring that blanking, isolation, LOTO, and flushing procedures are followed for safe handling.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Engineers during the planning and commissioning stages of transition and turnaround activities.
• Prepare markup PIDs for all GCM activities during the transition period to ensure safe and timely start-up.
• Work with shift team supervisors to ensure maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, washing, and follow-up jobs by technical or in-house contractors, are completed before handing over to production.
• Assist with work permitting and work authorization activities.
• Perform other duties and assignments as directed by supervisors.

• Relevant experience in the chemical industry.
• Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
• A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in maintenance planning and coordination.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
