The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of mechanical or electrical installations and equipment. Provides general assistance in the maintenance of the company’s plant, machinery, building and associated facilities. Carries out routine inspection and servicing of the company’s mechanical and electrical installations, building and associated facilities, refrigeration plants and air-conditioning units, plumbing and sanitary systems, machinery and equipment. Attends to complaints from users and carries out minor repairs. In this competitive luxury environment, an outstanding After Sales service is key to build client’s loyalty to the brand. Under the supervision of the Care Service Team Manager, the Junior Craftsman will be responsible for repairing various products, including but not limited to handbags, wallets, luggage and trunks, etc.

Main Responsibilities:

• Repair products in accordance with quality specifications and guidelines
• Achieve qualitative repair work within the time frame settled by company standard
• Detail-oriented with all aspects of the production process
• Ability to work in sewing, painting and cutting as necessary
• Ability to work with manual tools and equipment provided in the repair process
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Effectively work independently and communicate within a team environment
• Respectful to others as well as to the equipment and facility
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures, report any discrepancies immediately to the supervisor

Qualification / Skills:

• Relevant technical experience preferably in leather goods manufacturing/repair
• A background in design would be preferred
• Pass manual dexterity/ sewing test
• Detail, quality and safety oriented
• Client-centric mindset
• Self-motivated in order to complete a repair from beginning to end
• IT literate and basic computer knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of sewing on leather/canvas is a plus
• Language: Fluent in English or Mandarin

Responsibilities：

• Management of annual/specific Project and Maintenance activities/budgets (both Mechanical and E&I) throughout fiscal year to achieve department goals.
• Ensuring that the relevant maintenance strategies as well as industry best practices are applied to the activities for maintenance and modifications in the plant to achieve reliability and availability of plant equipment of the highest level.
• Ensures all plant and equipment is maintained to the highest level of safety for work to avoid lost time accidents, with immediate response and thorough investigations and corrective actions for all hazardous occurrences and accidents.

• Experiences as E&I Process/Maintenance Engineer at chemical plant or manufacturing facility.
• Knowledge about and to be familiar with high voltage power supply/MCC, control panel and/or DCS design and system to manage establishment will be an advantage.
