The Job

You will join the Maintenance Section to upkeep the manufacturing plants equipped with latest technology and advanced engineering control and support the Maintenance Manager in accomplishing corporate business objectives.

The Daily

• Lead a team of mechanical supervisors and contractors in performing all the plant maintenance, modification, and construction activities to ensure work are carried timely, safely and with good maintenance practices with no disruption to plant operations.
• Coordinate with plant operators and other maintenance groups in the execution of plant maintenance and modifications works with no compromise to safety of workers and integrity of facilities.
• Carry out mechanical study and modification of plant facilities according to technical specification and business requirements.
• Performs technical investigation on plant equipment troubles, evaluation of findings and recommend countermeasures to effectively prevent recurrences of similar problems
• Conduct and arrange training for staff and contractor to enhance their skill and competency levels.
• Respond to plant emergency calls and resolve mechanical troubles within tight schedule.
• Implement management systems based on standards stipulated under ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 450001 and SS651.

The Essentials

• Possess a Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in maintenance of mechanical facilities in oil, petrochemicals and power industry.
• Hands on experience in troubleshooting and repair of Static Equipment and Rotating Equipment such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels, agitators, pumps, compressors and blowers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and basic knowledge in SAP applications will be advantageous.
• Essential prerequisites include good analytical & problem-solving skills, ability to communicate with staff in different functions & contractors, strong spirit of collaboration & teamwork.

Responsibilities:

• Perform calibration and testing of equipment.
• Calibrate and adjust measurement instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Perform troubleshooting and repairs of equipment as needed.
• Ensure compliance with the procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address equipment issues and provide technical support.
• Assist in the development and improvement of procedures and processes

Requirements:

• Nitec or Higher Nitec in related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as Equipment Maintenance
• Prior experience in Semiconductor Industry

Job Description

• Craft a comprehensive regional sales plan to achieve commercial goals and growth objectives.
• Keep abreast of developments in the oil refining, petrochemical, chemical, waste to energy/power generation markets.
• Cultivate and nurture strategic relationships with key customers.
• Analyze customer needs and identify prospects' interest in our products/services, developing strategies for short-term projects and long-range partnerships.
• Manage the sales funnel, from opportunity creation to facilitating proposals and tender processes.
• Provide intelligence on competitor activities to enhance our competitive edge.

• Have extensive sales and/or key account management training and experience.
• Be able to work flexible hours and maintain an extensive travel schedule (up to 70 percent).
• Demonstrate the ability to read technical drawings and instructions.
• Be customer and service-oriented with strong commercial contract negotiation skills.
• Possess a hunter mentality (including cold calling), along with creativity, ambition, realism, and loyalty.
