Requirements:

• Minimum Nitec or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in electrical installation, PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and electrical maintenance preferred.
• Good technical knowledge with hands-on experience in troubleshooting & servicing HVAC equipment eg chillers, cooling towers, aircon, air compressors etc
• Experience in simple welding, piping work, and simple machining work.
• Must be willing to wear jumpsuit and mask as Personal Protective Equipment while working in the production area.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the maintenance of mechanical or electrical installations and equipment within the compound.
• Provide engineering support to all depts if required
• Diagnose and repair faulty equipment, perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment breakdown.
• Carry out instrumentation calibration activities.
• In charge of maintenance and troubleshooting of entire facility duties.
• Involve in TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) activities.

Job Description:

This is a full time role for a Technician (Building Maintenance) located in River Valley Road. Our clients are pioneer companies that played an integral role in the country’s physical and economic transformation.

You will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting for mechanical and electrical systems. You'll conduct routine inspections of fixtures, fittings, cooling towers, and chillers, and supervise contractors during repairs and testing. Addressing fault reports, complaints, breakdowns, and customer service requests promptly is crucial. Additionally, you'll report any irregularities observed during maintenance, complete maintenance logs and schedules accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with building and fire safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in building or facilities maintenance
• NITEC in Building Services, Electrical, Mechanical, Facility Technology or equivalent
• Good working knowledge in building, mechanical & electrical systems
• Able to work on rotating shift, public holidays and weekends

Jobscope:

• Provides reactive planning for PM, CM activities i.e., developing efficient work plans (tasks, sequences, parts/materials, craft/manpower and resources) for PM/corrective maintenance plans and carry out schedule review of 30/90 days
• Issue soft week and hard week schedules, maintain effective loading and utilization of craft, coordinates maintenance work related activities for the equipment’s in plant.
• Compliance to HSE standards and requirements
• Able to support the project in pre-com and commissioning activities such as verifying site check and witness commissioning activities.
• Generate spare parts list for the equipment’s and work with Reliability for critical spares, IT team to transfer the list into BOM list, ensure physical qty and SAP qty are in account
• Carry out site checks & planning of work orders end to end process
• Responsible for material procurement and availability prior to execution of all PM/CM works.
• Ensure PM/CM plans are scheduled accordingly and executed before their due dates.
• Assist in budget planning based on past years cost trending.
• Contribute and participate actively in site reliability improvements.
• Use Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in compliance with the global maintenance and business processes
• Knowledge of using symphony tool in SAP for scheduling maintenance activities.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma or equivalent, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5-10 years relevant field experience as plant engineer or equivalent. Preferably with Mechanical Engineering background.
• Relevant knowledge in: HSE Performance Management, Risk Management, Plant Operations, Reliability & Integrity, Process Technology, MOC Management, Cost/Budget, and RCA
• Knowledge of using symphony tool in SAP for scheduling maintenance activities.
