Work hours:
a. Early shift: 7.15 am to 4.45 pm (Monday to Thursday);
7.15 am to 4.15 pm (Friday)
b. Late shift: 9.00 am to 6.30 pm (Monday to Thursday); and
9.00 am to 6.00 pm (Friday).

Job Responsibilities;
1. Conduct preventive maintenance and regular inspections of installations, fixtures and fittings, equipment, common facilities and property to ensure they are clean, safe and in good working condition
2.Undertake minor building, mechanical and electrical repair works, and handyman works (such as changing of light bulbs, reset drawer locks, etc).
3.Monitor and attend to maintenance service requests, investigate and initiate corrective actions for any service and equipment breakdown, or fault detected during routine check, servicing and maintenance.
4.Daily, weekly and monthly inspection of key facilities, systems and critical areas.
5.Coordinate and supervise the rectification of defects, maintenance, replacement and upgrading works carried out by contractors.
6.Supervise contractors/vendors performing maintenance works on building facilities (e.g. Building maintenance, Mechanical & Electrical systems (M&E), horticulture, cleaning, pest control etc).
7.Monitor utilities consumption by taking water and electricity meter readings and report out of normal consumptions.
8.Assist in fire safety management, emergencies and business continuity plan for the Authority’s premise.
9.Liaise with Authority’s employees on projects and maintenance works and ensure compliance with fire, health and safety standards.
10.Coordinate and work with audio and visual equipment and cleaning contractors to set up meeting venues including seating arrangements and equipment.
11.Update information databases and breakdown record for engineering systems.
12.Any other facilities management works or related works that arise from the building operations and need.
Job Requirement :
- At least three (3) years’ relevant experience in building operation and maintenance of building facilities.
- The technicians shall hold minimum a NITEC/Higher NITEC in Facility Management or Mechanical and Electrical Services or equivalent.
- Additional experience in electrical system, uninterruptible power supply, generators, FM200, fire alarm, sprinkler, high voltage and low voltage switchboards will be an advantage.
- Additional qualifications such as Electrical Worker License/Singapore Certified Energy Manager (Associate)/Green Mark Facilities Manager will be an added advantage.
- Independent worker and a good team player who is comfortable in working in a fast-pace and dynamic environment.
