This role is responsible for the care management of elderly clients under the maintenance day care
programme, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care as well
as client education. The main responsibilities include:
• Take charge of the whole clinical nursing practice in the centre and ensure compliance with
approved standards of nursing practices, including the creation and maintenance of policies
and SOPs.
• Perform all general nursing duties to provide quality nursing care and support to clients to
ensure their safety and comfort. Duties include medication administration, wound
management, fall risks and hospitalization procedures, medical emergency procedures,

• Conduct assessments of clients during admissions and periodic reviews, including preassessment of referrals from AIC

• Monitor, assess and review the progress of clients.

· Supervise, guide, track & report on the assembling completion, alignment, re-commissioning, and test of mechanical & rotary equipment performed by mechanics to ensure machinery reliability upon start up.

· Maintain calibration, spares replacement records and test logs of machineries / equipment been serviced.

· Perform equipment or system testing/commissioning / Inspections / Pre-Startup Safety Review prior to handing over to technical team upon maintenance / project completion.

· Assist to maintain spare parts inventory levels in warehouse, support delivery checks by suppliers, and maintain good preservation / housekeeping in the workspace.

· Ability to identify critical paths in a repair or maintenance process and highlight technical team on the counter measure to be taken.

· Responsible for execution of pre commissioning activities with sub-ordinates related to mechanical, rotary, or hydraulic equipment (e.g. alignment checks, under piston or crankcase inspections, seal checks, supports checks, piping connection checks, lubrication, preservation condition, priming and purging etc.) in accordance with the pre- commissioning procedure.

· Responsible for execution of pre commissioning activities with sub-ordinates related to electrical or automation equipment (e.g. alignment checks, bump test, electrical connection checks, alarms, and safety trips etc.) in accordance with the pre- commissioning procedure.

· Well verse with Engineering PI&D, hydraulic & pneumatic circuitry and familiar with electrical drawing.

· Familiar with welding & thermal methodology repair requirements, metallurgy and material selection.

· Familiar with LOTO ( Lock Out & Tag Out) & Risk Assessment process.

· Planned weekly activities as per priority given by technical team and ensure smooth workflow.

· Ensure that all sub-ordinates practice and comply to permit to work system and good HSE practices.

· Produced weekly maintenance report to Technical manager.

· Plan attendance with mechanics for vessels that are in shipyard for repair and attend daily VSCC meeting and ensure daily task and commissioning activities are highlighted during meeting.

· Carry out others urgent task as required by Technical manager.

Requirement

· Preferably to have sea going or offshore experience as marine engineer MEO in compliance with STCW Standard of competencies, 3000 KW or More, meeting STCW Standard A-III/3 at least.

· Added advantage with strong background in shipyard repair as project manager, project supervisor or Ship Repair Manager.

· Added advantage with strong background as service engineer experience with marine diesel engines, turbochargers or marine equipment servicing.

· Added advantage with good academic qualification in tertiary education in Marine engineering, Marine technology, or Mechanical Engineering or Aero Engineering

· Familiar with regulatory and legislative shipping industry environment.

· Strong leadership and communication skills with good safety and supervisory attitude.

· Highly motivated and able to work in a team and in a dynamic environment.

• Perform tasks and activities, including standard maintenance and repair work such as preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring they are executed safely and effectively in workshops or onboard vessels, such as engine rooms, pump rooms, or decks.

Requirements:

• Nitec in Marine/Marine technology/Mechanical/Aero Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of Seagoing or offshore experience as a Marine Engineer Officer (MEO), handling at least 3000 KW, meeting STCW Standard A-III/3.
• Prior experience as a service engineer working with marine diesel engines, turbochargers, or marine equipment is an added advantage.

Job Description –Maintenance & Electrical Supervisor

Basically, your duties as a Maintenance & Electrical Supervisor are as follows:

a. Plan, co-ordinate and supervise the operation, maintenance, repair and implement improvement works to all M&E and Building service and refrigeration systems, including renovation and maintenance works.

b. Prepare and ensure schedules such as Maintenance Schedule, Repair Work Schedule and M&E Equipment Operation Schedule, and deadlines for events and installations works are met accordingly.

c. Carry out daily inspections and tests of mechanical and electrical equipments/ Plant/ BAS ACMV System:

• Check daily operation and implement periodic preventive maintenance programme

• Evaluate breakdown cause and provide temporary solution/s for (further) repair/ replacement works

• Oversee contractor’s work

d. Carry out research, design and advised on mechanically functioning plant and equipment such as machine tools, engines, heating, ventilating and refrigerating installations.

e. Prepare and generate the following reports:

• Consumable reports

• Utilities reports

• Expenditure reports

• Revenue reports

f. Provide technical advice to subordinates.

g. Study labour requirement, estimate cost of installations, operations, maintenance and repair.

h. Procurement of quotations and parts for repair/ replacement/ new installation works; check bill of quality and evaluate cost of quotation.

i. Co-ordination with contractors for renovation and new installation works, scope of works and quotation.

j. Plan and supervise construction installation, operation, maintenance and repair.

k. Check completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards.

l. Anaylze situation and introduce improvement works, repair and rectification works to department store.

m. Compile and vet M&E drawings for renovations to ensure it complies to all M&E regulations. Provide comments on renovation/ promotion counter drawings.

n. Any other job-related duties as and when assigned by the company.
