Job Responsibilities:
· To provide technical and maintenance support for the network and security products.
· To work with the team to ensure that clients get the best support they need
· To respond to enquiries professionally
· To able to stage or research before responding to customer
· To flag out complex/difficult cases to team lead and follow through with both external and internal stakeholders
· To document troubleshooting and problem resolution steps
· To be on 24x7 rotating on-call standby for our customers & partners
Requirements:
· ITE or Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/IT Related Fields with a minimum of 1 year Network Security related experience
· Quick and keen to learn new technologies
· Resourceful, creative, independent but able to work well in a team
· Action and customer oriented; Takes initiative and adheres to deadlines
· Taking ownership of technical issues
· Good written and verbal skills; excellent phone manner.
· Firm understanding of TCP/IP, OSI Layer, network security, network routing and switching
· Good troubleshooting skills
· Support Engineers are required to be on 24x7 standby calls on a rotating basis throughout the year
· Relevant network or security certification will be plus point
