POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a highly motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our team as a Smart Hands Technician. This role combines responsibilities across three key areas: Audio/Visual (AV) conference room support, Level 1 network infrastructure support, and Tier 1 service desk operations. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless operation and resolving issues related to these diverse areas.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Tier 1 Service Desk

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee technical issues
• Diagnose and resolve common user problems related to software, hardware, and network access.
• Log, track, and escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams.
• Provide clear and concise communication and technical assistance to internal users.

AV Conference Room Support

• Troubleshoot and resolve audio, visual, and connectivity issues within conference rooms.
• Assist employees with using AV equipment and ensure proper setup for meetings.
• Maintain inventory of AV equipment and report any missing or malfunctioning items.
• Maintain continuous process improvement to provide the highest quality products and services which meet the needs and requirements of internal and external customers.

Level 1 Network Infrastructure Support

• Diagnose and troubleshoot basic network connectivity issues (e.g., wired and wireless).
• Onsite Smarthands for Network operations team
• Escalate complex network issues to Level 2 support personnel.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:

• Ability to work individually and within a team.
• Undergraduate degree in a technical field.
• 1+ years of experience as an IT Support Engineer, Analyst, or Administrator.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the following: Networking, WiFi, Mac OS, Cisco, Linux, Windows is essential.
• Experience in ticket management and triage support.
• Experience with Jira Service Management (JSM) and working to SLAs.
• Strong understanding of basic IT concepts and troubleshooting methodologies.

Overview

As a Maintenance Engineer (Senior / Assistant), you are responsible for maintaining and repairing the heavy machinery, plant equipment, tools and systems used in the manufacturing, engineering and other industrial production processes. You are to ensure that all machineries and equipment are in good working conditions as and when are needed.

Responsibilities

1. Manage, oversee and lead the Maintenance team to ensure minimum downtime of Facility, Machinery and Equipment.
2. Strategize on maintenance regime, maintenance supplies, work instruction and methods.
3. Create plant preventative maintenance procedures and schedules.
4. Conduct routine inspections and periodic maintenance checks on machines to keep them running smoothly.
5. Plan equipment upgrading and machinery modifications for improvement or prolong efficiency.
6. Plan, order, replenish, inventory keeping of machinery parts.
7. Analyze gaps to ensure programmes meets customers’ and company requirements.
8. Analyze breakdowns, diagnose faults and supervise time critical equipment repairs.
9. Offer technical expertise and necessary in-house training to Maintenance team, Operations team (i.e.: supervisor, foreman, fitters, technicians, etc.) and others.
10. Manage budget for current and future equipment upgrades, replacements and maintenances.
11. Resource, coach, mentor and motivate direct reports to create a high performing team.
12. Ensure the cause of non-conformities are properly investigated and analyzed all corrective and preventive actions taken are effective.
13. Responsible for control of maintenance cost, procurement of new components for existing equipment, or replacing the entire set of machines after a prescribed period of usage is complete.
14. Ensure all ISO documentations relating to Maintenance of plant machineries are up-to-date.
15. Report to Production Manager and Top Management on the performance of the quality management system including opportunities for improvements.
16. Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management and/or the designated manager.

Requirements

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with a minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in maintenance in an automation / equipment manufacturing environment. OR
2. Higher NITEC in Mechanical Engineering or related / Professional Certificate / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in maintenance in an automation / equipment manufacturing environment.
3. Able to multi-task, work independently, proactive with positive attitude.
4. Resilient, self-driven and analytical.
5. A strong problem solver with an eye for detail and an analytical mind.
6. Able to stand, stoop, squat and kneel for long periods of times, as well as lift, push and pull large machine parts or machines or machines as needed.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
8. Familiar with various ISO / QMS standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 45001.
9. Able to work on weekends / public holidays when required.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality customer service and perform maintenance services for water appliances at customer locations.
• Troubleshoot and repair water appliances to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
• Help maintain and service water appliances systems, ensuring proper functioning.
• Assist with plumbing and electrical issues as needed (plumbing/electrical experience is a bonus).
• Provide timely and accurate reporting of service visits, including completing service sheets.
• Ensure all work is done in compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

• Must have a valid Class 3 license or own motorbike to travel to customer locations.

Job Requirements:
