Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and Execution of plant Predictive, Preventive Maintenance (PPM) works,
• Plant operational support and troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
• Work, coordinate with and supervise the resident maintenance contractors (IE) according to the job plan and scheduled daily maintenance activities.
• Follow equipment maintenance procedures, code of practices, engineering procedures derived from AIP standards and compliance of SHE excellence related to his works.
• Utilize Maximo to maintain plant electrical and instrument spare parts.
• Maintain a complete and accurate plant maintenance records & report.
• Other duties as assigned to meet business and operation needs.

The Candidate should have:

• Diploma or NTC qualification in a technical or engineering discipline; an electrical or instrumentation discipline would be essential.
• Minimum of 5 years hands on maintenance experience in the refining or chemical process industries
• Good functional knowledge and experience in the maintenance of Process Equipment and Instrumentations.
• Good PC skills and understanding of electrical drawings, logic diagrams, programming, schematics, loop drawings and P&IDs.
• Good interpersonal and communications skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-discipline and multi-cultural team in a high-pressure environment.

Industry: Research Facility (Large Compound)

Location: West area (Shuttle Service Available)

Schedule: 5-day work week (Regular Work Hours)

Skills: Hands-on, Building Facilities, Electrical and Repair Management

The position will be a hands-on Facilities Technician / Support for the Building / Research Facility Centre, a large compound that cater to various research, testing for high-security devices and equipment.

Position Responsibilities:

• The primary scope is to oversee the upkeep and maintenance of the Building Facility which will include (but not limited to) Electrical, Mechanical, Electronics and major and minor work related to the building.
• Handle projects and oversee Building Technicians who perform remedial works, audit inspections and engaging with third-party contractors (eg: Waste Management, Pest Control).
• Handle purchase orders for parts replacements, severe maintenance or overhauling.
• Will lead the documentation, coordination and operational aspect of building administration management.

Position Requirements:

• Technical Certification or Diploma in Engineering and/or Facilities Management, Building Services.
• Ideally at 4 to 5 years’ experience in M&E Facilities experience, hands-on repair and maintenance. Will consider 1 to 2 years working experience.
• Good verbal and able communicate with various stakeholders and colleagues for guidance and consultation.
• Work arrangement, Mon to Fri at 830am to 530pm schedule - however, may need to render overtime for installation and repair that need to be done outside production hours - overtime and transportation allowance provided.
