Duties of Laboratory Technician:

• Assist in routine lab tasks such as paint preparation, panel setup, and airless spray applications.

Responsibilities

• Setup, operate and maintain all types of conventional or CNC machines such as Milling, Lathe, Surface Grinding, Shaping, Hobbing, broaching and conventional machines in the cell/process.

- Performs metallurgical testing, such as material preparation (mounting, cutting, grinding, polishing) and microstructure analysis in line with approved methods or customer requirements;

Technical maintenance skills:

Position Summary

Technician is responsible in maintaining and repairing all M & E including air-conditioning and refrigerated equipment including all sanitary, steam, hot and cold water fittings, pumps, Ensure that all such equipment are working satisfactorily and efficient through the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair all electrical and mechanical equipment such as meters, starters, switch gears, fittings, wiring, vacuum machines, cables and all electrical operated machines throughout the hotel
• Install new starters including wiring and lying of cables, sockets, conducts, exhaust fans, door bells, television sets, automatic doors, light fittings, etc
• Run new wiring and cables, also all electrical fittings, lighting points, power points, fuse boxes, isolators, etc

• To take readings for all electrical systems, air-conditioning systems and Heat Pumps
• Service, repair and maintain all fan coils, air handling units, cold rooms, freezers and all other refrigerated equipment throughout the hotel
• Carry out planned and preventive maintenance programs for servicing as directed by supervisors
• Maintain daily log sheets for recording of temperatures and pressures of all air-conditioning chillers, freezers and cold room and changing of temperature recording charts should be carried out once a week
• To assist other technicians to perform other jobs as required by the Management
• Observe and report any unusual signs, sound pressure or temperature or equipment which is likely to lead to malfunction
• To switch on / off air-con in areas when requested
