Job Description:

• Prepares pipe support loads and conceptual designs for special pipe supports during detailed design phases.
• Conducts visual checks and calculates piping loads for non-critical lines.
• Provides guidance to piping designers and drafting teams, ensuring that piping requirements are accurately incorporated into the design. Delivers outputs on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
• Assists in preparing datasheets for specialty piping items, including spring hangers and expansion bellows.
• Compiles pipe stress analysis reports, addresses client comments, and resolves related issues as needed.
• Adheres to engineering procedures and standards while providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
• Identifies opportunities to implement new processes and technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Facilitates effective communication and coordination across all disciplines for seamless design and development processes.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in piping engineering works.
• Excellent technical communication skills (oral and written) with proven ability to present complex issues to design and project engineering teams.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, make sound decisions, take initiative, analyze problems, and develop effective solutions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels.

Min 8 year of working experience, in SINGAPORE and in the related field is required for this position.

6 years of QS experience

Proficient in Microsoft Office & AutoCAD.

Must be able to calculate and quote

Good written and oral communication, both in English and Mandarin.

Ability to communicate with Chinese foremen in Mandarin.

Able to communicate with Bangladeshi workers in English.

Support Construction Manager in planning of site construction works

Prepare all documentation including method statements and other submissions.

Coordinate with various Authorities / government / utility agencies for initial site clearance.

Coordinate with QP(S) including submission of necessary documents.

Report on daily issues to Construction Manager/ Project Manager.

Plan, schedule, control and monitor work progress at site.

Plan and arrange manpower to job site.

Continuously ensure adherence to planned timelines.

Maintain and monitor quality, cost and document controls.

Prepare and submit all daily / weekly reports as required.

Identify and assess any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace or work processes, minimize environmental impact associated with the construction activities.

Ensure safe work procedures and environmental control measures are implemented at the work site.

Liaise with authorities, consultants, main contractors and subcontractors.

Able to read and understand construction drawing, engineering drawings and specifications

The role Supervise and manage 2 Event Servers on daily event operation, this role is the middle bridge-person between involved parties (team / vendor) and the stakeholders to excute successful Event Planning and Execution.

Scope of Work

• Support Event Manager with detailed proposals for events (e.g., timelines, event / room layout plan, email correspondents to host / clients)
• Managing operation schedules for Event Servers
• Manage and oversee all event set-up, tear down, and follow-up processes efficiently
• Manage and coordinate with building management, venue, logistics, vendors, deskside / multimedia, and the Client Health and Safety team
• Oversee and support Event Servers on daily operation
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with vendors and clients
• Monitoring on records of inventory, vendor list, and cost
• Source vendor and propose quotation to the client according to event requirements
• Performing post-event evaluation with Event Manager for successful planning and execution
• To keep track of feedback to improve the success of future Events
• Training of new hires and daily supervision of Event Servers
• Greet and respond to guest/client requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
• Provide excellent customer service and present in professional appearance and mannerism.
• Interacting with the guests and routine food and beverage decorum

Pre-requisite

• Diploma in Event / Hospitality / Tourism and other relevant discipline
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in Event Management with 2 years as a Supervisor / Lead
• Individual with exceptional executive presence and ability to cultivate positive relationships
• Experience leading a diversity of events, from small to medium-sized functions, to large-scale celebrations (internal / external event)
• Ability to manage complex projects, including logistics, vendors, budgets, and timelines
• Possess Food Hygience Certificate / Food Handling Certificate added advantage
• Comfortable to be handling alcoholic beverages and / or non-halal food during event
• Able to work before / after official working hours when needed for event
• Able to use Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
