Responsibilities

• Ensure all regulatory licensing (e.g. lift operating permit, fire certificate etc) are submitted and renewed in a timely manner.
• Carry out routine inspection to look out for building defects and mechanical & electrical faults. Coordinate or administer works to ensure all faults and defects are attended to and rectified. Ensure scheduled maintenances are also carried out accordingly. Maintain and upkeep records for routine and ad hoc works carried out.
• Verify that the FM work was carried out appropriately before approving payment to contractors.
• Manage the Visitor Management System to ensure proper access control is done to facilitate staff
• Coordinate Resource booking of facilities and make necessary arrangement for preparations of venue for meetings and events according to schedule.
• Utilities tracking and monitoring and tracking of usage
• Manage car parking including collation of parking usages for recovery of car parking charges.
• Working closely with appointed Fire Safety Manager (FSM) to manage all fire safety matters of premises. Attend to all fire alarm activations, identifying the cause with follow up reporting on a timely manner.
• Executing various Green initiatives for building and maintaining premises to meet Green Mark standards (e.g. indoor air quality, utilities usage monitoring and recycling).
• Perform procurement function, i.e. establishing needs, sourcing, delivery and payment, as needed under facilities management.

Requirements

• Min. 2 years of relevant working experience in facility management is preferred
• Certified Fire Safety Manager will be an added advantage.
• A hands-on person who has knowledge of basic handyman work (eg. changing of lightings, troubleshooting electrical appliances, putting up of festive decorations, housekeeping etc.) and enthusiasm to be on the ground.
• Able to communicate and collaborate effectively with contractors/ vendors, as well as all office staff.
• Strong time management skills, able to take challenges and feedback in stride and develop improvements.

• Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) – work with line managers in ensuring the quarterly RCSA risk and control review accurately reflects the current risk environment and quality of operational controls. During these reviews, define thematic RCSA issues to help structure remediation plans regarding significant open risks or control deficiencies
• Work closely with other risk managers across locations supporting Front Office, Operations, and Engineering to share key initiatives and develop integrated risk solutions

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

This role requires an energetic self-starter that can liaise with various Global Banking and Markets teams both regionally and globally. Solid understanding of the Global Banking and Markets franchise offered by the Firm and experience within a risk management context are required. Supplying marine consumables, products, and solutions to every conceivable vessel type, our Marine Products division includes the Unitor brand of products, Timm ropes, Unicool refrigerants, and Unitor and Nalfleet marine chemicals. Last year we made product deliveries to 27,500 vessels, at over 2,000 ports.

What you will be doing:

Supplier Relations

• Build strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, availability, and compliance.
• Work with Procurement to onboard new suppliers and address performance issues.

Product Management

• Research market trends and customer needs to develop and manage products.
• Introduce new products, align with customer feedback, and support business growth.
• Represent the company at events to promote products and position us as a market leader.

Operations

• Create and improve processes for handling commodity chemicals efficiently.
• Work with local teams to streamline operations and support growth.

Pricing & Training

• Develop pricing strategies to stay competitive and profitable.
• Train sales teams on product features and support customer engagement.
• Drive sales growth through campaigns and market insights.

We are looking for a strategic and result-driven professional with a strong background in product management and supplier relations, who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is a natural collaborator with excellent communication and analytical skills, capable of identifying market opportunities, building robust partnerships, and driving the growth of our commodity chemicals product line globally.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, maritime, or a related field (Master’s/MBA is a plus).
• At least 2 years of experience in product management, sourcing, or business development within shipping, chemicals, or industrial supply sectors.

Skills & Competencies

• Proven expertise in building and maintaining supplier relationships.
• Strong analytical skills for market research and pricing strategy.
• Excellent project management and process improvement abilities.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
