Responsibilities

• You would provide support to the Sales Team in the Asia Pacific region, Commodities, Industries & Facilities Division.
• Work with the sales team and business leaders on the strategic plans
• Facilitate the consistent and harmonized sales process across APAC regions, to be in accordance with the group governance
• Support to enable a smooth Key Account Management process that synchronized with group guidelines
• Liaise with APAC Finance and respective Priority Regions on the Strategic Direction Initiative ensuring timely and consistent reporting for the Deep Dive initiatives
• Provide strategic and ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in clear manner for Strategic Direction list of priorities in APAC
• Provide governance, ensure consistency and implementation of business best practices within BV CRM Tool – Salesforce
• Manage multiple priorities and projects, including providing support for sales reporting & sales data analysis needs within APAC and regions
• Work collaboratively with the HO/Salesforce Global Team to design, evaluate and implement new functionality, automation and business required capabilities in Salesforce CRM Tool
• Ensure regional/countries’ business requirements are properly evaluated and accounted for; that any critical business functions are supported in the platform to safeguard and maintain the quality and integrity of the CRM solution
• Establish credibility as trusted Subject Matter Expert by listening, understanding business requirements and providing options for consideration
• Communicates effectively with all levels including Global Service Line leaders,Regional M&S and Country Sales, Data Stewards & Key Users across geographies and businesses
• Stakeholder management and engagement – communicate and delivery to business stakeholders for reports, strategic analysis and ad hoc support; building cooperation amongst regions and the various business teams
• Conduct training for salesforce/CRM tools and processes

Requirements

• Must have experiences in using Salesforce
• Must have at least 3 years Experiences in working and supporting sales team across different countries
• Analytical and strong capabilities to present information from data
• Good Communication skills and ability to interact across different cultures and languages
• Experience in conducting sales training is an advantage

Job Description

The Lee Kong Chian Natural History Museum (LKCNHM) was established in 2015, but its collection of natural history specimens spans more than two centuries, and continues to increase. Apart from physical specimens, it manages a growing collection of digital resources including images, publications, and other types of digital records which are necessary for research and education. We are seeking a dynamic and suitably qualified individual to lead in, suggest solutions and implement systems/strategies to manage this growing digital footprint and to work with LKCNHM subject specialists to curate and archive the large amount of scientific and other data, and information generated through research on biodiversity in Southeast Asia. The individual will play a pivotal role in ensuring that scientific data and information is managed in such a way that allows easy and smooth access to users, thus supporting the advancement of research and education.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following -

1) Scope and develop a platform to serve as a biodiversity information gateway for Singapore biodiversity information.
2) Assist with all museum-wide aspects of information and data relating to the collections: organizing information, storage, preservation and use of data on the collections
3) Relate and link various databases and other digital resources that come under LKCNHM to be accessible through the biodiversity information gateway.
4) Curate and/or organise the digital collections at LKCNHM, including new genomic, imaging, specimen, collection and other data that will continuously be generated.
5) Specific duties include:

• Setting up and managing core digital platforms/facilities within the LKCNHM.
• Maintaining the biodiversity information gateway for public delivery of data (for use by researchers, educators or interest groups for example).
• Managing and enhancing the integrity and accuracy of the digital collection information systems, including the collection database, and other digital records.
• Working with museum staff to improve specimen metadata, such as through photography, geo-referencing, and linking with host specimen records; and to support the on-line presence of the collection, contributing to the LKCNHM website.
• Facilitating data contribution to national and international data repositories.
• Managing data storage and preservation, including local servers and cloud services, and maintaining an appropriate back-up strategy.
• Recruiting and supervising interns and/or student assistants within the digital collection and biodiversity informatics; ensuring appropriate training, orientation, evaluation and discipline.
• Developing and preparing short monthly and annual reports and project reports for the digital collection.
• Work with the Museum curators and Research Associates to develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures (e.g. developing standard operating procedures for accessioning and databasing of specimen and associated data).
• Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements/Other Info

1) BSc or above in data science or digital management.
2) Two years of working or training experience on data management or similar related work.
3) Strong English writing and verbal skills.
4) Documented ability to multi-task and work well in a team.

Desirable skills:
1) Able to manage multiple stakeholders.
2) Able to manage projects within tight timeline.
3) Some understanding of specimen imaging and digitization.
4) Singapore class 3 driving licence is advantageous.

- Remuneration is based on a 12-month salary structure, with annual variable bonus which is subject to incumbent’s performance and the University/School’s prevailing remuneration policies.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the HR team in the full spectrum of HR responsibilities, namely talent management, learning and development, succession planning, performance management, employee engagement, and HR initiatives and projects as required.

Talent Acquisition

• Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract, assess, and hire top-tier candidates
