What the day will look like

• Work closely with Catastrophe Insight team to prepare Impact Forecasting’s Cat Reports.

How this opportunity is different

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to become part of our Impact Forecasting team based in Singapore. The team of 150 plus members based globally in 5 offices (Prague, London, Chicago, Singapore, and Bangalore) consists of scientists, developers, and client services colleagues, developing and supporting catastrophe models for various natural and human-made perils including flood, windstorm, earthquake, fire, terrorism etc.

This role involves working with Catastrophe Insight and Tropical cyclone R&D practice groups. The role will focus on development of natural catastrophe models quantifying risk due to tropical cyclones for re/insurance applications and as such, successful candidate is expected to understand catastrophe risk model development methodologies, become proficient in the ELEMENTS platform; and understand general catastrophe modeling practices and features. Skills and experience that will lead to success
