RESPONSIBILITIES
Regulatory & Business Conduct

• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Lead the [SGHK Private Banking] to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Key Stakeholders

• Private Banking Regional Head, COO, Business Planning Management, Banking Operations, Wealth Operations, Wealth Management, Compliance, Legal, Relationship Managers, Client Relationship Manager, 2nd line and 3rd line support functions (e.g. Ops Risk, Fraud Risk, ICS Risk, Conduct Risk, Group Internal Audit)

Other Responsibilities

• Embed Here for good and Group’s brand and values in SGHK Private Banking; Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures.

Our Ideal Candidate

• 5 plus years of experience in the banking industry.
• Sound HKMA/SFC/MAS regulatory knowledge and understanding of the private banking business.
• Solid experience in Change Management; ability to adapt and act quickly to drive change by advocating innovative solutions
• Product knowledge is preferred
• Self-motivated team player, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to articulate and resolve complex operational issues
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal key stakeholders
• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word is a must.
• Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, great attention to detail, as well as a passion for improving experiences.
• The successful candidate will be client and outcome-focused with a practical orientation to developing and maintaining an innovative mindset, and have a style that fosters teamwork and collaboration with all types of stakeholders and partners.

As a Lead Site Reliability Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within theChief Technology Office, you hold a leadership role in your team, demonstrate strong knowledge across multiple technical domains, and advise others on the technical and business issues facing them. Take lead and conduct resiliency design reviews, break up complex problems into digestible work for other engineers, act as a technical lead for medium to large-sized products, and provide advice and mentoring to other engineers.

Job responsibilities

• Leads initiatives to improve the reliability and stability of your team’s applications and platforms using data-driven analytics to improve service levels

• Collaborates with team members to identify comprehensive service level indicators and stakeholders to establish reasonable service level objectives and error budgets with customers

• Demonstrates a high level of technical expertise within one or more technical domains and proactively identifies and solves technology-related bottlenecks in your areas of expertise

• Ensures the reliability, availability, and performance of PAM systems leveraging vendor products including CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Microsoft, and HashiCorp Vault

• Develops and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline PAM operations and reduce manual intervention

• Responds to and resolve incidents related to PAM systems in a timely manner

• Conducts regular security assessments and audits of PAM systems

• Works closely with Technology Teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of PAM systems

• Provides weekend coverage on Saturday and Sunday from 8 AM to 5 PM SGP, when needed

• Participates in an on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed..

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or other related disciplines

• 5+ years or equivalent expertise in site reliability engineering

• Deep proficiency in reliability, scalability, performance, security, enterprise system architecture, toil reduction, and other site reliability best practices with the ability to implement these practices within an application or platform

• Fluency in at least one programming language such as (e.g., Python, Java Spring Boot, .Net, etc.)

• Deep knowledge of software applications and technical processes with emerging depth in one or more technical disciplines

• Proficiency and experience in observability such as white and black box monitoring, SLO alerting, and telemetry collection using tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, etc.

• Proficiency in continuous integration and continuous delivery tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Terraform, etc.)

• Experience with container and container orchestration (e.g., ECS, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)

• Experience with troubleshooting common networking technologies and issues

• Ability to identify and solve problems related to complex data structures and algorithms

• Ability to expand and collaborate across different levels and stakeholder groups

• Responsible for using alternative data to identify investment opportunities
• Perform FVT analysis & forecast for actionable insights
• Responsible for effective portfolio construction and risk allocation using quantitative methods, along with identifying the best financial instruments to optimize investment strategies

• Strong proficiency in R or Python, along with SQL
• In-depth knowledge of Macroeconomics and Fixed Income instruments, coupled with a solid grasp of Options and Derivatives
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to address the needs of fundamental managers and analysts
• Experience with both traditional and alternative macroeconomic datasets
