You will lead the APAC business continuity programme, oversee crisis and event management, as well as the management of BCM systems and tools.

Support execution of the region’s facilities and significant business initiatives or projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the corporate wide business continuity program that addresses disaster recovery (DR), business recovery and emergency response management
• Lead the implementation of end-to-end business continuity programme activities and tests in the region to validate the recovery strategies of the businesses and functions on a regular basis

Job Description:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of student academic matters, including secretarial services to the Institute Board of Academic and Examination.
• Deliver prompt and efficient support to the academic department, overseeing a variety of tasks such as managing admissions, maintaining student grades and records, evaluating grade reports, organising academic board meetings, and conducting statistical analysis and performance tracking for students and faculty.

Key Responsibilities

Overall responsible for the accounting and reporting of the REIT Manager and REIT & its subsidiaries. Direct report to Senior Finance Manage and manage junior finance colleagues.

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Review monthly accounting entries for REIT manager, REIT and SPV entities;

• Coordinate with Property Manager's Finance team and review monthly accounting data for asset companies to ensure proper accounting treatment and readiness for consolidation;

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with the appropriate accounting/financial reporting basis;

• Responsible for audit for REIT Manager, REIT and SPV entities as well as group audit at REIT level;

• Prepare and or review individual and consolidated annual budget and forecast;

• Prepare performance analysis and calculations of key performance return metrics

• Prepare periodic and ad-hoc analytical reports, financial models as needed

• Liaise with local accounting service providers, financiers etc. where need to assist in the transaction processes related to acquisition and/or disposal of real estate/investment holding companies

Cash Management/Treasury

• Manage processes for opening, operation and closure of bank accounts

• Monitor cash balance regularly and manage cash needs of various entities structure

• Manage AP process and effect payments/disbursements

• Manage distribution process

Company Secretarial

• Liaise with company secretary/compliance officer/trustee/legal counsel on filing and financing matters e.g. announcement of results, distributions, refinancing, capital market transactions etc.

Structuring and Tax Compliance

• Assist with tax planning, structuring and compliance

Requirements

· Bachelor’s Degree in Corporate Finance, Accounting and, ACCA or CA is preferred

· Preferably with at least 5 years of consolidation knowledge

· Experience in real estate industry will be an added advantage

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

This role involves independently assessing, measuring, monitoring, and reporting on the Group's investment, financial, and market risks, providing critical support to the Group's Board and REITs’ Audit & Risk Committees.

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members to design and implement frameworks and tools that enhance risk management and support decision-making processes.
• Conduct in-depth risk analysis and research, taking the lead on projects and managing teams to achieve timely and effective outcomes.
• Engage with asset management, investment, treasury, and finance teams to analyze risk impacts and provide financial insights for the organization.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative risk assessments for investments and assets across the Group's portfolio, utilizing various metrics and models, including Value at Risk (VaR) and stress-testing techniques.
• Deliver independent risk assessments for potential acquisitions and divestments.
• Review methodologies and establish benchmark hurdle rates to evaluate investment performance.
• Develop financial models and prepare quarterly risk reports and presentations for the risk committees and Board of Directors.

Job Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in analytical or investment-related roles, ideally with expertise in quantitative risk management (credit, market, or liquidity) within financial institutions. Relevant experience in real estate research/investment, project financing, equity research, corporate finance, or property valuation is also valued.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Real Estate, or related quantitative fields.
• Strong analytical skills in both quantitative and qualitative areas, with familiarity in statistical/risk methodologies and financial models such as scenario analysis, stress testing, VaR, and Capital Asset Pricing Models.
• Curiosity and an interest in macro and market research, along with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
• Interest in pursuing a career in risk management, investments, or real estate.
• Advanced Excel modeling skills, with proficiency in VBA or Python as a plus.
• Additional certifications, such as FRM, PRM, or CFA, are a bonus.
