Job scope :

• Identify and communicate customs-related risks and opportunities to the Head of Customs APAC, Group Customs team, and other stakeholders in the region.
• Assist the regional Head and collaborate with the entire customs community in the company on developing, rolling out, and maintaining a customs governance framework for consistency, efficiency, and sustainability in customs compliance.
• Develop and conduct customs-specific training in collaboration with the Global Knowledge Manager, as required by legislation and authorities.
• Implement measures to enhance performance and compliance levels in local/regional operational teams, shared service centers, and third-party service providers.
• Handle customs-related requests, providing timely, accurate work plans, resource schedules, project estimates, and status reports.
• Develop and maintain relationships with regional customs authorities and other regulatory bodies for effective business operations.
• Offer advice and support on customs procedures/programs to reduce duty obligations.
• Prepare assessments and reports as required by management.
• Monitor legal developments and conduct impact assessments.
• Participate in customs audits when necessary.

Qualifications:

• University degree in business/finance/informatics or interdisciplinary education (e.g., international business law or business informatics).
• Corporate experience in customs/taxes/controlling, finance, or multinational business advisory.
• Familiarity with Free Trade Agreements and their application in Asia.
• Strong communication skills, openness, cooperative working style, and ability to work across cultures and countries.
• Fluent in English, both speaking and writing.
• Prefers a team-oriented working approach and demonstrates high assertiveness.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Food Court Manager to oversee the establishment and efficient operation of a new food court. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up the food court, managing day-to-day operations, and leading a team of culinary and service professionals. The Food Court Manager will play a crucial role in recruiting and training staff, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities:

Food Court Setup:

• Collaborate with the project team to design and set up the food court layout.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment installation, signage, and overall aesthetic appeal.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during the setup phase.

Staff Recruitment and Training:

• Lead the recruitment process for culinary and service staff, including chefs, cooks, cashiers, and cleaning staff.
• Develop comprehensive training programs for all food court employees.
• Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and product knowledge.

Operational Management:

• Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and adherence to established standards.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
• Implement effective cost control measures to maximize profitability.

Customer Service:

• Foster a customer-centric environment by ensuring exceptional service standards.
• Address customer concerns and feedback promptly and professionally.
• Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Financial Management:

• Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Analyze financial reports and implement strategies to improve profitability.
• Monitor and control operational costs while maintaining quality standards.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
• Stay updated on food safety and hygiene standards, implementing necessary changes.
• Work closely with relevant authorities to obtain necessary permits and licenses.

Team Leadership:

• Build and lead a motivated and high-performing team.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to staff, fostering a positive work culture.
• Conduct performance evaluations and implement development plans.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in food service management, with a focus on setting up and running food courts or similar establishments.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Financial acumen and budget management experience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in food service management.

Selected applicant will be tasked to work Mon - Fri for the initial period where the incumbent will need to assist with the setting up of of the Food Court
