You will be part of the Technology Operations team, reporting to the Head of Technology, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our cloud-based systems' availability, scalability, and security. • AWS Infrastructure Management
• Assist in the design, deployment, and maintenance of scalable and highly available AWS infrastructure.
• Support the implementation and management of AWS services such as ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, Networking, and others as needed.
• Monitor and optimize resource usage, performance, reliability, and costs.
• Monitor and improve AWS network performance.
• Security and Compliance
• Participate in regular security assessments and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Work closely with the security team to assist in responding to and remediating security incidents.
• Support efforts to enhance cloud infrastructure and data protection following Well Architected Framework principles.

• Develop basic infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or the Cloud Development Kit (CDK).
• Learn to implement automation scripts to streamline routine tasks and improve operational efficiency.

• Help set up and configure monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in cloud engineering, software development or related fields.
• Experience with programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is mandatory.
• Experience with docker and containerization is a plus.
• Good understanding of Networking.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) is a plus.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, cloud architecture, security and DevOps practices is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and excellent communication skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Interest in building a career as a Cloud Engineer with a focus on AWS.

A brief summary of your job responsibility:

• Develop and implement accessible front-end code that meets WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) 2.1 standards and beyond. Ensure accessibility across various platforms and devices, catering to users with visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive disabilities
• Build responsive, high-performance interfaces that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing while keeping accessibility in focus.
• Regularly audit and review the codebase to identify and fix accessibility issues. Use tools like screen readers, keyboard navigation, and assistive technologies to perform manual and automated accessibility testing.
• Collaborate closely with designers to translate their vision into functional code and that accessibility principles are considered from the initial design phase

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

• Strong expertise in front-end development with a focus on accessibility, including experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ARIA
• In-depth knowledge of WCAG 2.1 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)
• Proven experience in rapid prototyping and delivering high-fidelity prototypes that can be quickly tested and iterated
• Experience conducting accessibility audits and testing
• Familiar with design principles with the ability to think like a designer when needed, while also being deeply aware of the limitations and opportunities within frontend development
• Familiar with the latest frontend frameworks, systems, and best practices, with a focus on delivering user-centric solutions
