• Responsible for plan, schedule and execute all system backend (Hardware & Software) and ensuring successful and timely completion of the projects
• Maintenance activities
• Troubleshoot and fix adhoc system & network faults
• Conduct regular maintenance activities such a system inspection/monitoring, system backup, disk space monitoring and housekeeping, patching and upgrading of various software and Operating systems.
• Handle related software projects and processes.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & experience

Tasks & responsibilities

As part of IME’s Photonics & Sensors Department, the candidate will take lead of the development of various testing capability for advanced photonics, including but not limited to chip-level and wafer-level testing of optical devices and electro-optical devices at high RF frequencies, as well as the testing of electro-optical sub-modules and sub-systems. As the Research Engineer (Equipment/Operations), you are directly involved in tool installation activities for semiconductor process tools. You would need to work proactively to coordinate with the contractor on the ground for the execution and take corrective and preventive actions of lessons learned, due diligently to prevent reoccurrence. You are responsible for performing utilities turn-on after installation is completed.
