Nature and Scope
The job holder is the Specialty Gas Production Technician who reports directly to Specialty Gases Operations Specialist. He/she must have high standard of safety and environmental awareness.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• The production technician shall start blending jobs according to production planning This includes preparation and inspection of the empty cylinders and to send to the respective blending booth.
• All cylinder's inspection process needs to be carried out as per operation procedure and relevant work instruction.
• The technician should be able to interpret laboratory results correctly.
• The technician shall check and maintain the equipment/instrument of the department in good working condition.
• The technician shall prepare document according to work instruction and jobs assigned by the supervisor.
• The technician shall provide on-site customer service if required.
• The Technician shall follow the company’s safety policy and is responsible to ensure that safety precautions are undertaken in the working place.
• Demonstrate an ability to look after the general well-being of the plant
• To perform any other duties and responsibilities as directed by superior

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum diploma in Chemistry or equivalent
• 1~2 years relevant experience in the gas industry.
• Basic MS Windows / Office and SAP knowledge
• Able to drive forklift
• A team player with effective communication skills and customer oriented.

• Basic Salary up to S$4000 (3 – 6 months Contract)

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all communications and coordination with overseas suppliers on a major product line
• Liaise and work closely with internal stakeholders and relevant department to consolidate information, coordinate and align actions and raise alert if necessary
• Supervise and track item processes in systems (e.g. item code creation, bill of materials, item status and parameters etc)
• Liaise and work closely with supplier on production plans and shipping to ensure timely shipping with holistic visibility and tracking
• Source and plan components (Including production orders planning), exchange and dispatch of finished goods to customers/ partners located worldwide
• Follow the executive of the overall process and raise alerts when delays/ issues are identified
• All other relevant duties as required

Job Requirements:

• Min Diploma/Degree in Logistics/ Business/ Supply Chain or related discipline
• Minimum 3 of relevant experience in Production Planning, Demand planning or distribution planning
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Knowledge of SAP & WMS is advantageous
• Good interpersonal and communication skills

Objectives of the Position

• Experienced Global Business Expert for the processes Manufacturing, Site Logistics and P2P for supply chain (including Tolling Execution). Part of the Global Supply Chain Process Excellence team with members located in Europe, Asia, North America and South America.

Main Tasks:

• Implement new organizational and / or technical concepts for processes MFG (Manufacturing), SL (Site Logistics), P2P (Purchase-to-pay) in strong alignment with relevant stakeholders including global process owners. Facilitate and contribute to change and test management activities.
• Drive innovation and automation activities, e.g., based on RPA (Robotics Process Automation) technology. Continuously assess improvement potentials and implement new solutions when available.
• Track and address adherence to business rules and processes including monitoring via KPIs, process mapping tools, and reports.
• Lead regional, sub-regional and local key-user communities to enforce continuous communication and best practice exchange.
• Lead projects or projects workstreams with cross-organizational or cross-functional aspects, e.g. S/4HANA implementation or supply chain integration of acquired businesses.
• Execute key-user and end-user support including Issue-solving in day-to-day business, training, monitoring tasks and data maintenance.

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business administration, IT, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience in Logistics or Supply Chain, with a strong focus on order-to-cash and transportation management processes and tools.
• Experience in Agricultural business is a plus.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

• Process knowledge: Deep knowledge of supply chain, operations, and logistics processes. Experience with analysis and monitoring tools, e.g. SAP transactions, BW applications, data lake queries.
• Organizational knowledge: Awareness about organizational structures in BASF, interaction between divisions and corporate / service functions.
• IT knowledge: Detailed knowledge of Microsoft standard applications, SAP ERP, and related tools for MFG, SL and P2P purposes.
• Process design / modeling: Capability to use process modeling tools (e.g. Signavio) for process mapping and design.
• Project management: Experience in contributing to projects or leading workstreams of projects. Ability to manage own workload, set priorities and regular reporting of progress to stakeholders. Change management skills.
• Customer-Centricity: A strong commitment to enhancing the customer and business partner experience throughout the process areas of manufacturing, site logistics and P2P.

Essential Technical Skill :-

l 3-4 years’ experience with Distributed Technologies - AIX, MQ, Java, RDBMS, connect-direct

l 2+ years’ experience supporting native iOS / Android applications in large Production environments

l Support maintenance of OpenShift, container native applications and microservice design patterns

l Two years of experience managing or supporting OpenShift or Kubernetes infrastructures

l Experience with additional container, virtualization, or cloud technologies like Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform, Kubernetes, Docker, VMware vSphere, Amazon Web Services (AWS), etc.

l Ability to manage the container platform ecosystem

l Assist in change review of container platform for new versions of OpenShift, Hotfixes, etc.

l Integrate multi-functional applications into container-based support services

l Participate in a highly collaborative team environment, contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle

l Troubleshoot software code issues and report findings

l Review and provide feedback on project technical documentation

Job Requirements

 Min. 6-to-8-year hands on development experience in any operational risk system or any banking application

 Experience and knowledge with Aldon LM(e) product & setup is an added advantage

 Banking domain or financial institution working experience and familiarity with SDLC process and change management tools.

 Must possess customer oriented and Can-Do attitude (should be able to accommodate overtime work when needed)
