Job Description:

• Work with suppliers in developing parts & processes
• Experience in reading & understanding of various types of manufacturing drawings including Geometrical & Dimensional Tolerancing
• Provide technical assistance to suppliers in Manufacturing Processes, Process Sheet validation & accuracy checks (Machining / non-machining & special process suppliers).
• Knowledge in various types of special processes required for manufacturing of parts & should be capable of reading & understanding various related specifications
• Support suppliers in:
  • Understanding of drawing requirements & specifications
  • Process planning / sequencing of operations & audits of process sheets
  • Reduction in cycle time & improvement in production rates
  • Special process requirements
  • Understanding raw material requirements (AMS & related specs)
• Knowledge of tools, jigs & fixtures
• Experienced in preliminary evaluation & recommendation of potential new suppliers in terms of manufacturing capabilities
• Support the team to achieve planned goals on localization
• Hands on experience in PPAP activities such as Process Flow, PFMEA, etc. & reduction of escapes & rejects by improving handling & processing techniques
• Carryout Contract reviews, Process reviews, & audits at various suppliers.

Communication Skills

• Good written & verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate & present to international customer base
• Capable of multi-tasking working with different suppliers simultaneously

Education & Qualification:

• Bachelors in Engineering with 6 to 8 years of relevant experience
• Skilled in Unigraphics NX software (CAD & CAM) with hands-on experience in Milling, Turning, Grinding, etc.
• Highly advantageous to have experience in Aerospace and Defense parts manufacturing

We are looking for a Manufacturing Excellence Specialist to be a guardian of the improvement process for Tuas Factory. In this role, you will coordinate and drive factory initiatives to develop, implement and maintain sustainable improvements, cost reduction and competitiveness whilst maintaining Nestle Quality Standards. You will ensure and optimize the use of resources through the identification and elimination of losses. You will serve as a center ofexpertise for dissemination, guidance and implementation of focused improvement methodologies in the market. Also, as the Focused Improvement (FI) Pillar Leader, you will drive the implementation of the FI Pillar of TPM methodology at the factory. Conducting and implementation of continuous improvement tools within the factory. Coordination of CI team activiti es (training, team formation, monitoring of progress, information sharing).
• Technical support for production including using industrial performance tools to ensure successful troubleshooting and debottlenecking of process flow related to equipment. Conduct on his own focused improvement projects, or coordinate and lead multi-functional teams to improve.
• Training, coaching and assessment for the factory and the local committees on GA practices.
• Responsible to implement safety and environment practices in the workplace.

Role Purpose

Operating with close supervision, the incumbent shall be responsible to ensure that HSSE regulations are followed, potential hazards are identified and mitigated at the MOPS/OFS influenced sites.

Key Accountabilities

• Possess knowledge of local statutory HSSE Regulations and Industry HSSE standards to ensure their correct implementation. Understands the company’s HSSEQ policies, requirements and procedures and the specific HSSE requirements for the projects assigned.
• Monitors EPCI activities of the projects, identifies HSSE issues and proposes preventive and corrective measures so as to provide a safe and environment-friendly working environment.
• Routinely inspects the work areas and equipment including subcontractors to identify unsafe acts and conditions; advises line management of areas requiring management intervention as well as on HSSE legislative and industry standards.
• Investigate and report on incidents, near misses, and unsafe practices.
• Participates in regular HSSE audits and inspections.
• Participates in emergency response procedures and drills.
• Deliver HSSE training programs for staff. Keep records of staff training and certifications to ensure compliance.
• Complies with HSSE reporting standards and regulations. Prepare regular reports on HSSE performance for project management team.

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety/Engineering or its equivalent.
• Min 0-3 years of progressive experience as a Safety Officer with exposure to the type of work performed on EPCI projects.
• Completed Certification as a Workplace Health and Safety Officer (WHSO) through the Ministry of Manpower, or equivalent/similar for overseas base.
• Must have knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO14001, internal auditor certifications preferred.
• Hot Work Assessor Certification is preferred.

The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are listed as, but not limited to the following:

• Plan in conjunction with the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef activities, promotions, menu implementations according to the annual marketing plans
