Senior Operation Manager

Working Location: Warehouse – Woodland
HQ location: Central
Working Day : Monday – Friday ( office hour )
Salary : $4,000 - $5,000

Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management:

• Oversee all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory control, receiving and dispatching goods, and maintaining accurate records.
• Implement and refine warehouse processes to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of materials and finished products, adhering to safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Liaise with global suppliers and retailers to ensure orders are delivered in a timely manner

Production Operations:

• Lead a team and overlook fragrance assembly and packing following established procedures and ensuring quality control.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor production issues.
• Maintain detailed production records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Coordinate with other departments (purchasing, quality control) to ensure smooth production operations.

General Responsibilities:

• Lead and motivate warehouse and production staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize operational efficiency.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects, identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports for all operational activities.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential issues before they disrupt production.
• Maintain accurate records of production data, equipment performance, and maintenance logs.
• Assist with troubleshooting and resolving production line issues, working collaboratively with team members and supervisors.
• Maintain inventory of supplies
• Liaise with component suppliers for stock of goods
• Ensure maintenance for stock of finished products
• Liaise with logistics / shipping company to ensure timely shipping and clearing customs for delivery of goods

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse or production management role.
• Possesses a Diploma or Degree in business or project management equivalent
• Experience operating fragrance production machinery (a plus) and/or be able to understand basic machinery mechanics.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software (a plus).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with various sites across the APAC to ensure consistent and robust performance, advocating for best practices and excellence.
• Responsible for the the overall performance of sites, ensuring accurate forecasting and streamlined production processes.
• Identify and suggest opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, methods, and the integration of new technology.
• Support local plant managers in day-to-day operations, fostering positive outcomes in production targets and maximizing yields at the lowest Cost of Goods Sold.
• Ensure alignment of plants with quality/CSR requirements from certification bodies and customer audits, securing successful certification/re-certification and resolving audit findings.
• Any ad-hoc duty as assigned

Requirements:

• Min degree in Mechanical/Electronic/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Min 7 years of proven experience as an operational leader in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control principles and manufacturing costing.
• Sounded Knowledge in lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma
• ISO qualifications are highly preferred
• Comfortable with regular travelling with short notice, may up to 60% per month.
