Job Description

· Handling of high volume of food production

· Preparing sauces, spices and marinates based on standard recipes

· Preparing raw ingredients and cooking of soup

· Packing of food and ensure proper storage

· Cleaning of equipment and waste disposal

· Maintain cleanliness at workstations

· Manage loss/risk prevention

· Manage production line

· Handle any other duties assigned by direct supervisor

Job Requirements

· Willing to learn and positive attitude

· Able to start work immediately

· No prior experience is required

· Candidates with Food Hygiene Certification is preferred

· Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

• Operate machinery safely and effectively for production processing and handling of raw materials to meet production schedule.
• Operate forklift to transfer the production equipment between warehouse and working area.
• Ensure work done meet quantity, quality and environment & safety standards.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies for equipment operations.
• Work under the guidance of Supervisor to perfom and complete the assigned duties in timely manner.
• Maintain the work area clean, safe and organized
• Any other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Requirement:

• Min Secondary Education of O Level
• Minimum 1 year experience in Manufacturing Industry with continuous plant operations
• Forklift license
• Physically Fit
• Willing to commit 12 hours alternante shift ( Alternate week of day and night)

Salary :

Salary stated is a basic salary. Min clocking of 40hours/week.

Miscellaneous Allowances ( Transport, Shift, Safety, Laundry)

Responsibilities

• Ensure workshop in operation to produce quality products and on-time delivery.
• Lead by example to manage and supervise workshop production team.
• Communicate to align with various departments.
• Experience in set up and operating Manual and Machine tools related to Precision Engineering.
• Experience in CADCAM.
• Production planning
• Ensure safety standards on the production floor.
• Lead workshop maintenance, troubleshooting and corrective actions.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualification

• Minimum NITEC/Diploma qualifications in Engineering.
• Prefer 10 years of working experience in shop floor production related to Precision Engineering.
• At least 3 years of supervisory/ management experience.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to diverse work force.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with both R&D and Operation Managers to kick off improvement projects that aims at cost reduction, yield improvement, Human Resource Management (work along with HR), etc.
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles and best practices to drive process improvements across all production lines
• Develop Production standard procedure or Work Instructions and align these documents with quality management systems requirements
• Prepare and conduct training for Operation teams to ensure up-to-date compliances are practiced consistently
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement strategies to improve productivity and efficiency
• Collaborate with the R&D team to introduce new technologies and innovations to our manufacturing process
• Report monthly CI & other assigned KPI performance
• Other ad hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

• Possess minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, with minimum 1 year working experience in manufacturing environment
