Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Carry out all assigned production activities in accordance with written procedure and safety policies
• Moving and loading of raw materials into machine
• Offloading of semi-finished products
• Support production activities for final packaging operation
• Information recording and data entry

• Secondary education and able to do simple mathematics
• Pace of work is determined by machine
• Willing to work overtime

• To supervise the work of sub-contractors and work closely with other operations staff to meet the project schedule
• Report to the Construction Manager
• You will adhere to construction procedures and safe work practices and ensure that works are executed within an acceptable standard of workmanship so as to meet the stringent requirement conducted during site tests and inspections
• Prepared and Assembled ready wooden cabinetry to drawings and specifications for installation.
• Verified dimensions and checked the quality and fit of pieces.
• Measured and marked dimensions of sites.
• Performed Cabinet assembly with the use of hand tools.
• Assisted with all aspects of the assembly team.
• Read detailed schematics for cabinets and executed assembly accurately.
• Helped with delivering and manually installing cabinets.
• Installed cabinets in residential homes.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the Construction Industry
• Possess a certificate in Building Construction Safety Supervisor (BCSS)
• Supervisory experience in foundation & structural works on site
• Able to work independently with a positive attitude

Job Description:

• Development for additional production lines of bonding wire for the semiconductor industry
• Liaise with relevant persons such as production’s engineers in Japan to formulate objectives
• Ensure output meets quality standards
• Monitor and manage production output according to specifications required
• Train employees on how to operate machinery safely and follow procedures
• Ensure the safe use of the equipment and schedule regular maintenance
• Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• Develop team technical competency
• Enforce health and safety precautions

Requirements:

• Diploma in Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the electronic manufacturing industry
• Proficient in Japanese language at business level to work closely with HQ in Japan and Japanese business partner
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work independently and manage staff.
