RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the studios are in order, including studio set, equipment to ensure a smooth production of the News & Current Affairs programmes for CNA and all news bulletins transmission on Mediacorp channels.
  
  
• Assist Automation Directors on all responsibilities for the execution of daily news bulletins and current affairs programmes for both automated and traditional galleries.
  
  
• Liaise with Producers, Automation Directors and Graphic Designers to meet technical and operational requirements during live transmission and ensure that editorial intentions are met, with the highest production standards maintained.
  
  
• The incumbent will also be equipped with the right skills required for new and developing tools to deliver high quality production.

• Minimum a Nitec/ Higher Nitec in Video Production/ Diploma in Electronic/Electrical/Audio Engineering or its equivalent
  
  
• Detail-oriented and be able to multi-task.
  
  
• Effective communicator and a good team player.
  
  
• Good organizational and project management skills are necessary.
  
  
• Shift work required to accommodate the production requirements. Must be willing to work nights, on irregular shift including weekends and public holidays.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with supervisor/manager to ensure production planning run smoothly and give support to the team.

• Coordinator between Admin and QA for any production issue.

• Ensure production output data are accurate and perform monitoring check.

• To be responsible of production data collection and data entry.

• Data key in for raw material withdrawal record, finished goods production.

• Ensure all the inspection record by production operators are accurately and comply with requirement

• Establish and enforce company policies and safety procedures for staffs.

• Other related duties as assigned by the production / operation manager and managing director.

• Location: Tuas with Company transport provided.

The Job

You will join the Manufacturing Section equipped with latest manufacturing technology and advanced engineering control, and assist the Production Supervisor in accomplishing manufacturing targets and workplace safety, health & environmental standards.

The Daily

· Provide support in plant commissioning, start-up, shut down and production activities to facilitate safe and smooth manufacturing operations.

· Undertake production operations, quality checks and minor plant maintenance operations to meet production schedule, product quality and cost objectives.

· Perform field inspection/patrol, sample collection, data recoding to support plant reliability, quality product and production efficiency.

· Participate in Emergency Response Team with involvement in emergency training and execution of emergency countermeasures.

· Comply with Health, Safety & Environment policy and procedure and take part in Health, Safety & Environment activities to strengthen workplace safety & health and environmental protection.

The Essentials

· Possess a GCE ‘O’ level with credits in Science/Technical subjects or NITEC (NTC 2) in Chemical Process, Mechanical Fitting, Electrical Fitting & Installation or Electronics.

· Must have completed National Service and be prepared to perform rotating shift work.

· You need to be a team player with initiative, drive & commitment, able to take pressure and able to communicate well with others.
