• Once a job has been accepted by the company, the production manager sets up the job ready for construction. This will include writing up material lists for every item, negotiating prices with subcontractors and writing up work orders, and completing the Spec/Req folder
• Prior to the start of work, the production manager will meet with the sub-contractor assigned to the project and debug the job, ensuring that all specifications and job conditions have been reviewed
• Prior to the start of work, the production manager and the sub-contractor will meet with the salesperson and customers in a pre-construction conference where all details and potential problems will be ironed out and all decisions made by the customer. On smaller, simpler projects, it may not be necessary for the production manager to attend.
• The production manager is responsible for ensuring that communication between the customer and the sub-contractor is being maintained.
• The production manager will ensure that routine change orders are estimated, written up and signed by the customer and the sub-contractor. When change orders involve more substantial work than is typically handled by the sub-contractor, the production manager will coordinate with the sales department on pricing and selling of change orders.
• The production manager maintains an adequate work force of sub-contractors to meet the needs of the company.
• The production manager is responsible for all company vehicles, tools and equipment, including their maintenance and in good operating condition.
• Prior to the completion of the job, the sub-contractor, at the direction of the production manager, meets with the customer(s) and salesperson to prepare a quality control pre-completion punch list. This will be signed by the customer(s) and, when completed, the final check will be collected. The production manager will implement and supervise incentive programs for lead carpenters to maximize performance.
• The production manager approves all requests for payments to sub-contractors.
• The production manager, together with the sub-contractor, goes over final plans and specifications to ensure that there are no problems in filing and obtaining building permits, and coordinates all necessary inspections during the course of the job.
• The production manager is responsible for recruiting, negotiating and developing a working relationship with a sub-contractor in every trade. This includes developing a unit cost for every standard task

The Chemist is part of the pioneer team in the startup of EVAL production line, the Chemist is responsible for setup of QC Laboratory at new EVAL site, including management and training of Laboratory analyst, Laboratory system establishment and management to achieve safe and stable commissioning and startup of the new plant.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret laboratory results that are outside of the technical ability of the Lab Analysts.
• Review all process and final product test results to check for validity and possible quality related
• issues.
• Assist quality lab manager in classification for final product and compounding lots.
• Assist quality lab manager to develop and implement QC specifications and standards.
• Assist quality lab manager to establish lab system according to HSEQ requirements.
• Conduct method development and validation, review and upkeep SOP of test procedures,
• calibration procedures and analytical instruments.
• Analyse, review and troubleshoot reliability issues of laboratory equipment and analysis problem
• and develop practical solutions.

• Experience required in statistical process control and statistical quality control.
• Experience preferred in polymer testing and analytical techniques.
• SAP & LIMS experience preferred.
