Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to lead quality and process optimization efforts across our supplier network, with a strong focus on mechanical processes (e.g., metal stamping, forging, brazing, die casting, CNC machining, and milling). • Work in partnership with suppliers to develop and enhance their quality processes and manufacturing practices. Ensure that their systems align with company standards, especially in the areas of tooling design and fixture/jig manufacturing.
• Collaborate with internal teams (design, production, procurement) to ensure clear communication of quality expectations and standards.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the supplier network, focusing on enhancing quality management systems and manufacturing practices for metal-based components and mechanical parts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in supplier quality engineering or a similar role within the manufacturing or electronics industry.
• Proven experience with mechanical processes such as metal stamping, forging, brazing, die casting, CNC machining, and milling.
• Strong understanding of supplier quality management systems and industry standards.
• In-depth knowledge of metalworking, tooling design, and the manufacture of fixtures and jigs.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Experience with supplier audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement processes.
• Six Sigma certification (or similar qualifications) is advantageous.
