Position title: Production Supervisor

Salary: $2200 - $3000

Location: Ang Mo Kio (3 bus stops from Yio Chu Kang Interchange)

Working Days: 5.5 Days Work Week

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm

Job Description:
- Able to lead, train and coach team member

- Manage and handle daily production purchase, inventory, stock, and work schedule

- Willing to learn and participate from the start to the end finishing product

- Cleaning and troubleshoot in production machines

- Responsible for the whole process of the manufacturing from purchase, withdraw, issue until handover to warehouse

- Create, maintain and update the SAP system

- ISO documentation update, recording and maintenance

- Responsible for the internal and external audit process and documentation

- Co-operate with inter department to ensure the production is running as per schedule

- Other task/assignment given by the Superior/Management

Job Requirements:

- Diploma with Engineering Chemical or Chemistry background will be advantage

- At least 3-5 years manufacturing work experience required

- Able to provide training and coaching to team member and also to handle queries from clients/associates

Job Responsibilities

You will join a team of computer operators, performing 24 x 7 shift duty on rotation, responsible for running day-to-day computer operations and performing helpdesk functions in our Data Centre which runs multi-platform systems on Mainframe, AS/400, UNIX, WinNT, etc, running Production and Development environments. Your responsibilities include:

• Monitor various monitoring facilities for software and hardware including operating systems, application systems, ATM and network equipment, and react to exceptions in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures
• Monitor application job flow which are scheduled by job scheduling software, and react to exceptions in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures
• Perform reports printing and distribution
• Manage IT-related incidents and problems reported via phone call or e-mail from UOB staff
• Maintain Incident Logs for incidents and problems for all software, hardware and applications being monitoring
• Perform job submission, backup, recovery and restart in accordance to SOP or approved ad-hoc requests
• Perform first-level system and batch problem determination and resolution only, and escalation to second and third levels in accordance to Standard Operating Procedures

Job Requirements

• Minimum Degree in IT or Computer Science from a recognized polytechnic/institution with at least 5 years of working experience in relevant work area
• Experience in operating for AS400, Mainframe, Open system (Unix and Windows) platform
• Proficient in using MS Office Suite of products
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and proficient in English Language
• Proven ability to work independently and under pressure
• Ability to commit to 24 x 7 shift duty (3 shift rotations)

Job Description

• Day to day prepress operations
• Check output and ensure quality in confirmation with customer’s request and take corrective action if need to
• Edit, design layout and produce documents for publication using desktop publishing.
• Create FA layouts/design artworks upon clients' request using Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Be able to carry out image retouch & colour correction of images using Photoshop.
• Ensure deadlines are met.
• Checking of mock-ups for clients and suppliers.

Job Requirements

• Ensure production pieces are produced in a timely fashion.
• Maintain interactions with print production and CTP staff on scope of projects.
• Ensure all work produced is technically correct and meet requirements.
• Able to work independently with little or no supervision
• Attention to details.
• Deadlines driven
• 1 – 2 years of working experience in the Creative/ Printing Industry.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Responsible in converting final artworks for printing
• Perform colour corrections on artwork
