Position Overview

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of HR experience
• Fluent with the MOM guidelines and Employment Act
• Meticulous with an eye for details
• Able to multitask in a fast paced environment

Additional Information

• Working hours: 5.25 days work week, with one half Saturday per month WFH
• Work location: No. 2 Jurong East Street 21 #04-70 Singapore 609601 (within walking distance of Jurong East MRT station)

The Executive oversees the procurement process to ensure cost-effective, timely, and quality acquisition of goods and services. This role involves collaborating with internal teams, managing supplier relationships, and driving process improvements to support organizational goals efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Formulate and implement effective procurement strategies to achieve cost-efficient purchasing and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Conduct market analysis to optimize costs and mitigate procurement risks.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts, monitor supplier performance, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with internal departments, including engineering and quality teams, to ensure alignment with material and parts requirements.
• Ensure procurement activities meet company policies, technical specifications, and industry regulations.
• Oversee inventory levels to reduce excess stock, prevent shortages, and implement effective inventory management systems.
• Negotiate favourable terms with suppliers and perform cost comparisons.
• Provide recommendations to management based on detailed analyses.
• Track and follow up on orders to ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate documentation for all procurement activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or Polytechnic Diploma in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and data management tools.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical parts.
• In-depth understanding of procurement best practices, market trends, and industry regulations.
