Principal Software Engineer, Network Technology - Singaporeans only

Job Description

We are seeking highly talented Software Engineer, Network Technology with experiences in developing

application or middleware on embedded system (automotive ECU system is preferable) for connectivity and

network functions.

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop protocol stacks for Vehicle Network/Communication functions or systems

(including but not limited to Ethernet, CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Optical related.)

• Develop subsystem prototyping such as DoIP and SOME/IP stack based ecosystem.

• Lead or participate in product software architecture definition and design which meet automotive OEM

requirement.

• Ensure and carry out forward design process and document quality according to V model to fulfil

stringent automotive industrial ISO standard.

• Implement software programming to realize defined architecture & design.

• Behave independently as technology domain representative for internal and external customers.

Preferred Skills and Experience Requirement

• Strong capability in independent thinking, self-motivation and innovative thinking.

• Deep understanding of network layer components such as IPv4, IPv6, routing, forwarding, TCP/IP.

• Deep knowledge in applying C, C++, JAVA or other scripting for different embedded system

development.

• 8 years' experience in the embedded system development, ARM processor, preferably in automotive

industry.

• Knowledge of software development using embedded C, C++, C#

• Knowledge of OS, data structures and algorithms.

• Knowledge of streaming media protocol and AVB.

• Knowledge of Real-time operating systems (RTOS), Linux, Android Auto or QNX will be added

advantage.

• Experience in developing time-critical functions in embedded systems.

• Proficiency with network monitoring protocols and tools.

• Knowledge of security engineering (building secure systems), Operating Systems and network security,

common attack patterns and exploitation techniques.

• Knowledge of system security analysis techniques such as threat modelling, attack trees etc.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with Automotive industrial protocols will be added advantage.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or above in Information Security, Electronic, Computer Engineering, Computer

Science or related field

$4500 to $8500 per month

Job Description

• Develop & implement QMS system & take the lead of continuous improvement process & initiatives
• Provide root cause analysis & preventive action plans to resolve non-compliance issues
• Analyze internal & external data to identify areas for improvement & communicate with relevant parties for quality improvements
• Ensure the compliance with ISO 9001 & all relevant standards to both internal company policies & customer standards
• Maintains and implements the Quality Management System (QMS) for the organization.
• Manages Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA&QC) by conducting audits for quality system conformance, and by liaising across departments to maintain good documentation control and management.
• Conducts investigations into inconsistent quality processes and non-conformance and recommends preventive actions to eliminate recurrences of such issues.
• Monitors product failure data and performance trends, and initiates remedial actions with relevant departments, where necessary.
• Identifies opportunities and prepares recommendations for continuous improvement in quality, productivity and cost efficiency.
• Handle Customer Complaint resolution, onsite & offsite
• Lead supervise OQA production lot acceptance and FAI submission team for achieving OTD objective.

Job Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor Degree in Precision Engineering, Mechanical, Quality, Engineering or equivalent.
• Meticulous, thinks systematically and is able to work independently.
• Possesses good organization, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Quality Management System and ISO 9001-2015. Certified Auditor will be a plus.
• Knowledge of LEAN Six Sigma and 8D Discipline methodology highly desirable.
• MS Excel, PowerPoint a MUST and ERP knowledge an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan major Jobs with assistance and direction of Maintenance team and develop critical path if required

• Create scope of work, estimate and plan craft hours and crew for each job step

• Provides a complete package for successful execution of maintenance work at minimum cost

• Physically check Job site to determine a specific job requirement

• Check surplus materials are returned to store

• Estimate accurately the cost of work orders and monthly cost reporting

• Identify materials required from manual

• Work with area/Job in charge and materials unit to maintain safety stock for critical materials

• Maintain right status of work orders, update maintenance orders status as jobs are workable or unworkable, percentage completion, estimated completion date

• Establish unit ranking based on priority of job in case multiple job request in being raised.

• Daily review of all maintenance work orders and material reservation. Ensure that materials are received prior to scheduling the job

• Request crane/trailer , scaffolding ,manpower & other resources and ensure contract readiness or other resources required on the daily scheduled job.

• Attend meetings and responsible for making the weekly and daily work schedules, conduct daily maintenance scheduling conference call

• Monitor Key performance indicator

• Arranges for and schedule support services for the heavy equipment

• Maintain work order and equipment history file and responsible for checking and ensures data is entered. Ensures accuracy of all related computerized maintenance system (SAP_PM) data files

• Lists, edits and checks all issued minor maintenance work orders and plans/schedules work

• Work with SAP and relevant vendors to improvise on daily planning processes and reporting and to Keep track of spares & materials

Prepare minor CAPEX and One-pager justification for management approval

Requirement:

• Min Dip/Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 5 -10years’ of maintenance experience in Oil & Gas / Petrochemical industry

• Experience in SAP system

• Experience in a Gas Plant such as Gasification/SMR/ASU is an advantage

• Experience in Plant TAR

• Basic knowledge of Industrial standards such as API, ASME etc for Rotating and Static Equipment

• Good conceptual knowledge on planning and maintenance of all Rotating Equipment such as Steam Turbine, Centrifugal Compressors, Reciprocating Compressors, Screw Compressors, Multistage Pumps etc

• Good conceptual knowledge on planning and maintenance of static equipment ie. Boilers, pressure vessels, pipes, tanks, valves, safety valves.
