Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the implementation of technical projects and Industry 4.0 software solutions.
• Provides consultation and support to clients regarding software solutions and their integration into existing IT systems.
• Serving as a point of contact concerning the matters related to software systems, network administration as well as computer environments.
• Assess value chain process and tailor/modify software solutions to align with specific customer requirements.
• Provide software support, to coordinating and maintaining effective communication with machines sales team and other project teams.
• All other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum training or diploma/degree in Computer Science / Mechanical Engineering / System Engineer or other relevant field studies
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant working experience in software systems
• Experience with CAD/CAM software programming would be advantageous

Our client is a well-established MNC, market leader in the Water Treatment industry. They are looking for a E&I Engineer to assist their E&I team for the next phrase of their business. They are located in South – easily accessible.

Duties of E&I Engineer:

• Responsible in designing and developing new control systems, which can be complex in nature necessitating the expert application of engineering knowledge and control disciplines such as process control, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).
• Responsible to prepare, review and approval of drawings, instrument lists, data sheets, elect diagrams, control architecture, logic diagrams, operating procedures
• Responsible to plan and self-monitor daily engineering and design work assignments
• Responsible in controling and monitoring job costs and schedules to meet completion dates, customer technical specifications and internal technical specifications
• Responsible in developing and using engineering standards (electrical, instrument, etc.), procedures and forms for engineering design and production fabrications.
• Responsible in providing engineering advice and support to engineers and Project Managers.
• Responsible in preparing FAT procedure and test Control system
• Responsible in conducting training on plant operation & maintenance.
• Responsible in performing plant start-up & commissioning/ troubleshooting.
• Responsible in representing the company for customer discussions and technical reviews

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Engineering/ Electrical or equivalent
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCad
• Knowledge of PLC programming experience is a bonus
• Prior experience with SCADA system is a bonus
