General Overview

• Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based applications using Spring Boot and other Java frameworks.
• Backend Development: Implement and optimize server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.
• Frontend Development: Work with front-end technologies to create dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
• Database Management: Develop and manage complex queries and stored procedures using Oracle Database, ensuring data integrity and security.
• System Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate different modules and systems seamlessly.
• Code Review & Optimization: Conduct regular code reviews and optimize existing code to improve application performance and maintainability.
• Troubleshooting & Debugging: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software issues in a timely manner.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation to support the development process.

Mandatory skills

• Full Stack Development: Proficient in both front-end and back-end technologies, with a focus on Java Full Stack development and enterprise security best practises
• Java/J2EE: Strong expertise in Java programming and J2EE architecture.
• Spring Boot: Extensive experience in using Spring Boot for developing microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Oracle Database: Solid experience with Oracle databases, including writing and optimizing SQL queries.
• Front end technology skills – ReactJS or AngularJS experience

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

· Develop detailed project plans, including scope, goals, deliverables, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.

· Planning & execution of all new and retrofit projects related to utilities & facilities.

· Ensuring the best available technologies are incorporated by design.

· Techno commercial evaluations of consultants, vendors, and contractors.

· Delivering the project within the budget and timeline approved.

· Responsible for relevant project costing and annual budget preparation related to engineering, facilities and EHS.

· Coordinating with statutory authorities for relevant approvals.

· Complying with operational and personnel standards, regulatory and statutory requirement to ensure efficient, reliable, and uninterrupted operation.

· Ensure smooth handing over of the project to end-users, coordinate and ensure deliverables as per plan.

· Ensure the site's facilities are kept to the highest standards for cGMP requirements, including Purified water system, WFI System, HVAC system, EMS, BMS, Boilers, fire safety, security, pest control, cleaning services and waste removal.

· Responsible for development SOPs and quality standard for site with following of site QMS procedures.

· Ensure to meet the required regulatory requirements (e.g. HSA, FDA etc.) and keep the site audit ready for all the time.

· Responsible for managing a team of vendors / contractors.

· To assist on any ah-hoc duties that have been assigned / task by the immediate Superior

Education:

· Bachelor’s / master’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. SCEM, Water efficiency Manager will be an added advantage.

· Project management certification: PMP or PRINCE2

Experience:

· Proficient / experienced in the Microsoft project software and project tracking.

· Proficient / experienced in AutoCAD.

· 3~5 years of experience in the green field / brown field area project management.

· Capability handles the pharma project from USD 2-5 million.

Soft Skills:

· Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.

· Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

· Good investigation and report writing skills.

· Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.(GMP, PICs)

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assist Section Project Lead in day to day operations.
• Perform the assigned mechanical task under quality and schedule.
• Advise the project’s design mode & standard
• Familiar with Class regulation/rules, product, standard
• Report the project daily discipline (Man-hour/Schedule etc.)
• Able to work with other team members for the overall progress of the project
• Feedback for profession’s design mode & standard
• Train & Guide the other project mechanical engineer (AE or draft man) to work together.
• Study & Solve the project issues under mechanical responsibility
• Attend and report in project and section meeting
• Complete the assigned task for different project drawings or documents.
• Support Project Section Lead in Mechanical Technical issue.
• Coordinate with Shipyard /Consultant / Vendor
• Responsible to Mechanical Project Section Lead/ Mechanical Technical Lead
• Project Handling- New building project, Repair, Upgrading, Conversion project.

Job Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in the marine/offshore industry Machinery/ Piping new-building engineering design.
• Familiar with Auto-CAD/ Microsoft Office/ AVEVA
• Familiar with Rules and Regulation from Classification Society and Authorities.
• Familiar with theory and calculation of marine/offshore Mechanical & Piping Design.
