Job Description

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

DESCRIPTION

The Piping Mechanical Engineer reports to the Project Engineering Manager and shall be responsible for technical compliance with all design requirements and coordination with the necessary Client and Subcontractor’s discipline engineering professionals. The Role:

• Perform engineering duties such as design, engineering calculations, planning, tender preparation/evaluations as part of the engineering project team

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, designers, programmers, suppliers, and stakeholders, to plan, execute, and deliver engineering projects focused on green marine systems for marine vessels within defined timelines and budgets.

• Knowledge of marine vessels systems, including electric motors, generators, batteries, power management systems, and control systems is an advantage.
• Familiarity with marine vessel propulsion systems, including diesel engines, gas turbines, and electric propulsion technologies.
• Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and project management software.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing project requirements.
