DESCRIPTION

The Piping Mechanical Engineer reports to the Project Engineering Manager and shall be responsible for technical compliance with all design requirements and coordination with the necessary Client and Subcontractor’s discipline engineering professionals. The lead piping engineer shall ensure that all de-signs comply with the requirements of the Work; that all Work is efficiently and effectively executed in accordance with the criteria, specifications and standards listed in the CONTRACT; and that the designs comply with safe and reasonable standards as accepted within the offshore oil and gas industry. • Minimum 15 years’ experience, with Oil & Gas projects (fixed installations and FPSOs), with significant experience working as a Senior or Lead Engineer.
• Must have prior work experience with medium/ large sized brownfield and/or greenfield projects in the upstream Oil and Gas sector, in a similar role and possess a good understanding of project phases, milestones, deliverables, internal and external interfaces.

Position Summary

The Senior Staff Mechanical Engineer will be part of Vivance organization, reporting to the R&D Director in Singapore. He will contribute towards ME Engineering activities throughout the Product Development cycle of the Vivance Products.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical engineering activities to develop new Products from concept to production
• Perform engineering activities required for support of released products for product development, quality improvement, COGS reduction, and manufacturing issues resolution.

JOB SCOPE (Design Engineer)

- Design, test, debug and commission the company’s product, which include jigs and fixtures, customized semi and fully automatic machines.
