Job Overview:

We are looking for a Technical Engineer cum Driver to join our team at LIPCO FOOD &BEVERAGES Pte Ltd. This hybrid role will require you to apply technical expertise to maintain and troubleshoot equipment within the food manufacturing process, while also handling driving responsibilities to transport goods between various locations. The ideal candidate should be flexible, hands-on, and capable of balancing both technical engineering tasks and driving duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Maintenance & Troubleshooting:Perform routine maintenance and inspections of manufacturing equipment, machinery, and systems to ensure smooth operation.
   Identify and diagnose mechanical or electrical faults, and take appropriate action to resolve issues promptly.
   Carry out repairs and adjustments to machinery as needed to minimize downtime.
   Collaborate with the engineering team to develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
   
2. Installation & Setup:Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new machinery and systems as required.
   Ensure the proper setup and calibration of machines according to the food manufacturing specifications and safety standards.
   
3. Technical Support:Provide on-the-spot technical support to production staff for machinery-related issues.
   Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations during maintenance work.
   Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and time spent on repairs.
   
4. Equipment Improvement:Suggest and implement improvements in the manufacturing process to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
   Work closely with the production team to ensure machinery is operating at optimal performance.
   

Driver Responsibilities:

1. Transportation of Goods:Safely operate company vehicles to transport raw materials, finished products, and supplies to and from suppliers, warehouses, or customers.
   Ensure timely deliveries and pickups, coordinating with the logistics team for route planning.
   
2. Vehicle Maintenance & Safety:Ensure the vehicle is regularly maintained, clean, and in good working condition.
   Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues to the management team.
   Maintain accurate records of vehicle logs, fuel usage, and delivery schedules.
   
3. Staff Transportation:Transport company staff or management to various locations as needed.
   Ensure the safety and comfort of passengers during transit.
   

Responsibilities

1. Developing and implementing mechanical designs and welding procedures for new products or product improvements.
2. Analyzing and troubleshooting mechanical and welding problems, and recommending appropriate solutions.
3. Conducting tests and experiments to validate designs and procedures.
4. Managing projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
5. Providing technical support to production teams and assisting with equipment maintenance and repair.
6. Mentoring and training junior technicians and engineers.

Requirements

1. Strong knowledge of welding processes, metallurgy, and welding standards.

2. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.

3. Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.

2. Carry out calculation work on T.C Marine and Offshore Equipment.

3. Conduct checks on the required marine classification standards for T.C Marine and Offshore Equipment.

4. Carry out the study and understanding of client’s technical specifications.

5. Carry out the project management and supervision of the Engineering process for the manufacturing and design of T.C products.

6. Ensure successful delivery of the completed products to client.

7. Resolve all technical problems arise from client during commissioning.

• Responsible in guiding the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, commissioning and substitute of mechanical or piping equipment within the Gas Engine Generators as well as its additional systems such as gas engine, pipeline, pressure pipe, ACMVs, lube oil and coolant pumps arrangement.
• Responsible in supporting mechanical support and solutions for the process & care and providing the development of care strategy including procedure/specification focusing on equipment dependability, spares inventory necessity, shutdown and inspection lists, preventive and prophetic care programmed.
• Responsible in managing and work meticulously with internal contractor and equipment seller to perform maintenance work at the Gas Engine Generators Building and terminal.
• Responsible to make certain compliance to appropriate regulations, manipulate safely, fit for object, maintainable and trustworthy for the site’s modified or anew build mechanical setup (such as gas engine, pumps, gravity vessel, safety facilities, etc).
• Responsible in guiding technical negotiations, execute and succeed project schedules or cost as well as collaboration with outward and internal shareholders, merchants for end of life and development project using company Management of Change process for machinery facilities.
• Responsible in supplying technical practicing as required in the area of process, maintenance, fault resolution of the Gas Engine Generators.
• Responsible in contacting with exterior investor including administration agencies on approbation and risk of closure of electrical arrangement that will influence gas-send out.

Requirements

• Min Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or any relevant field.
• Min 3 to 5 years’ experience in relevant industry for maintenance of rotary and staticequipment is needed
• Prior experience in different types of gas/diesel machine knowledges is a bonus.

Experience / Skills:

Role Responsibilities:

• Attend/Chair progress, design team and coordination meetings.
• Represent AECOM at client, design team and progress meetings throughout the course of the design and construction stages of the project.
• Prepare outline scheme report/technical content of the design information
• Input to pre-qualification and selection of contractors, respond to tender queries, comment and review tender returns.
